After a month of warfare, Alyssia had gained a greater understanding of the use of various strategies but she had found that she most preferred simple ones that made use of herself to break into the enemies forces and aim for their long ranged attackers to reduce the damage done by gunfire but also to target the captain of the ship to reduce the morale.
After that the rest of the battle is focussed towards a melee confrontation, so long as her own people can maintain their formation and hold off the enemy while inflicting some damage over time, she and the other two minks should be able to cause a large amount of damage to them.
This month had not only been productive for strategy, research, recruitment, skill, navigation and financial gains but there was also the huge gains from the fame points that she had earned.
Asking for a duel or participating in one was a way to earn points but so was participating in an event as such as a gladiatorial or martial arts tournament.
However the participation of wars and battles between ships also helped to spread her fame so long as there were enough witnesses to let it be spread.
Her defeat of so many enemies over this month had provided her with a lot of points from not just her name or an alias being spread around the previous island, Kano and Zou but there were also the various enemy countries who had quickly learned about her abilities after her many victories.
There were also the surrounding countries who were watching from a distance and enjoying watching the fight between two countries and from there her participation in the battle and her achievements became known by many in the West Blue or at least in the surrounding countries around Kano within a certain range that had sufficient information gathering abilities to know about the war.
Alyssia, Carrot and Clifford quickly became known for their technology that grants them the ability to utilise electricity in combat in various ways.
Since their identities were not revealed and there was only enough pictures of them revealed during combat or on board the ship, most observers only were able provide a description of the masked figures who wore an animal ear hoody, black clothing with some metal items on their body but also that they had a tail.
However those that got a chance to snap a picture were only ever able to get a quick portrait shot of the upper half of the body so the surrounding newspapers published and identified them as the Masked Lightening Trio who participated in the war and helped tip the balance of the war.
Their leader Black Lightening who wore a black outfit and mask, specialised in the use of kicks and scythe wielding with the help of lightening powered boots or greaves.
The second in command, Orange Lightening wore an orange outfit and mask, specialised in the use of freestyle fighting using every limb with the help of lightening powered boots or greave and gauntlets.
The next was the least popular of the group who was not quite as popular to the public simply because his achievements were not as large as the captain and second in command.
Finally there was Brown Lightening who wore a brown outfit and mask, specialised in the used of the two sword style but also had the help of a pair of lightening powered boots or greaves.
After the battle ended, every dead body was quickly dealt with by those wearing gas masks and the ship and the belongings were quickly taken by Alyssia and her followers.
After many battles, Alyssia could count more than ten ships that she had subdued and captured.
As a result, she now had many pirate or battleships within her possession but also a large supply of weapons that had been confiscated.
She could easily sell them or hand them over to the Niho or Happo Navies for a fair compensation but she decided to give them to Archie to practice with while she continued with her lesson from Chinjao.
The last couple of enemies had been worn down through many confrontations resulting in their retreat and regrouping but today they had staked everything in order to turn the tide of victory.
If they lost, they could not return to their homeland and bear the great shame of as the losers of the war, they would be mocked by the public and their families would be targeted by the hatred that has been built up in the country so they all had no choice but to go out as martyrs.
They would all either die or survive once the poisonous gas bomb has been exploded which would result in many deaths within the enemies ranks and if they died, they would be able to die as heroes who sacrificed themselves for a later victory for their country.
If they somehow lived and came back then they would even be praised for their achievements and be rewarded for weakening the enemy at the risk of their own lives and the lives of their own men.
Unfortunately a flaw appeared in the plan very quickly, Alyssia and her crew had prepared for such weapons ahead of time and could easily withstand it after putting on the customised masks.
Since the suicide attempt was triggered earlier by the captain who was targeted quickly by Alyssia, the poisonous gas still needed enough time to spread and reach her own crew who were still on board her ship.
All she needed to do was provide them with a means of surviving, the masks in the possession of the enemy crew were enough to provide those closest to the gas to be able to breathe while steering the ship away from the affected area.
After removing many of their masks or stealing them before the enemy could put them on, Alyssia was quickly able to defeat the enemy but also warn the others who were fighting elsewhere of the dangers.
Many types of chemical or poison gas bombs had been circulating on the black market through various channels throughout the years but they were rarely ever used unless in desperate situations or by someone who simply did not care about the diplomatic fallout from using such tactics in warfare.
The Kano country may have not expected such a weapon to be used but it did not mean they did not have the means to counter it.
After being warned they were able to adjust their tactics and prepare for a poison gas attack whether it be attacking from afar and cutting off their path to retreat or using gas masks to assist a melee battle.
The early warning helped to reduce many deaths but also the damage that may have been dealt to Kano country as a whole.
Even if some survive thanks to their strong vitality and physique, they would still have to suffer from the aftereffects of the poison after it has damaged their internal organs and weakened their immune systems.
For an older man like Chinjao who was already growing slightly weaker, this would have put him one step closer to his grave and made him have to retreat from the battlefield altogether unless it is for one final fight before he passes away.
Many days passed and the enemy countries issued a letter of surrender and began to negotiate the terms for a peaceful resolution of the war and constant harassment they had put Kano under over the years.
Kano Country was on the receiving end of a large amount of wealth and an additional fleet of ships to compensate for the troubles caused but to also avoid additional losses from further retaliation from Kano.
Ramen the king of Kano Country awarded the Niho Navy and Happo Navy with the position as the left and right pillars of the country and readily awarded them with some of the wealth gained from the negotiation to help make up for their losses but to also invest in them further and make the country stronger.
The rest of the berries were put towards enriching the country and investing in several beneficial projects or people within Kano while a small part was awarded to Alyssia for her assistance.
As she was still an outsider, the king had no choice but to treat it as a mercenary group helping them complete a task much like Germa 66 so he paid Alyssia and her crew what they had earned and deserved for their contributions during the war.
After negotiating with Chinjao for a while, many of the ships were put on sale and readily bought by the Niho and Happo Navy to prepare for the expansion of their fleet.
After Archie had spent time studying their structures, materials used and fixed them up, a large sum of berries was now within Alyssia's grasp.
Purchasing many special herbs and ores unique to Kano, she began to store them on board her ship along with any kind of books and materials that would be of use for experimentation or the building or fixing of something.
