"Are we even safe with that psycho here?" The brown haired boy named Thomas asks angrily. "How long until he kills us huh has anyone thought about that?" He asks the rest of Crystal Lake. "Rule 7." 4 voices say, behind Thomas. The boy turns around and receives the most savage right hook ever seen by these kids and 2 adults. "Damn Slim." Tank says helping the boy up. Once he is standing Tank holds his shoulders. "You good?" Tank asks the bleeding boy. He nods. "Good man." Tank says just before slamming his head into the boy's face. Rat sits Thomas up and slugs him as well. Spitting blood Thomas stands up. Alex runs up and leaps in the air punching him as well. Thomas, disoriented and brimming with rage, brings his fist back and sends it flying at the back of Alex's head. A gasp rings out as a very bloody Riley catches his fist. "I think everyone here needs to be reminded of the rules we live by." Riley says, looking at every person. "Today the world tried to get us and you didn't fight but now that you are safe you fight each other." Riley tosses Thomas's hand aside. "Rule number fucking 1 we fight the world not each other." Riley says angrily. "You want to vent your anger, take it out on me but do not waste my efforts by killing each other. Do you understand me?" Riley says watching the shameful gazes of the others. "Answer me goddamned it." Riley roars. "I left so you could adjust and the moment I get back you people almost lost our home or our things." Riley takes a deep breath and pulls a cigarette out to calm himself. "Thomas was disrespecting you, he called you a psycho and said you were going to kill us." Alex says, making Thomas nearly puke with fear. "And that was good enough a reason to split his face open?" Riley asks, blowing smoke in Alex's face. "Seems he is the only one with the ability to worry for his clan members." Riley says, raising an eyebrow. "Tank, Alex, Rat, Slim here is a fucking news flash I am psycho. I kill people and I just fed those bastards to the zombies. He isn't wrong about that, however Thomas. As long as the rules are followed and you are part of my clan, my family, I will never hurt you." Riley picks the boy up. "Besides, I'm hardly ever here." Riley says chuckling. Pain and exhaustion choose this moment to claim Riley and he falls to the ground unconscious.
Tank lays Riley on a cot in the workshop. "Why did he pass out all of a sudden?" Thomas asks, spitting blood out. "Have you killed anyone?" Jason asks from the doorway. "Of course not but what does that have to do with anything?" Thomas asks. "It has everything to do with Riley, you see when we first woke up I convinced Riley to do a job the others wouldn't know about." Jason says sitting down. "He would be our judge, jury, and executioner. We could easily kill zombies, no questions asked, they are zombies after all." Jason says stroking his Jason Vorhees cane. "But we would also face people and that is much harder to fight. We as humans inherently don't accept the action of killing someone, but I believed Riley who lived for revenge on his family's killer would be capable of killing the humans we might face." Jason looks at Riley sleeping on the cot. "I told him to kill Mr. Stroker to make him capable of doing it again later. But it seems Riley has taken it upon himself to do the dark deeds himself to spare us the blood on our own hands." Jason stands and walks over to Riley. "Perhaps while we all sit safely behind our sturdy wall we take better consideration for those that built it and maintain it, if you find yourself disagreeing with our actions look away or go away but I feel I should warn you." Jason turns to the others. "The monster you don't want hunting you is sleeping right now and with a snap of the fingers I can have it hunt any and all deserters." Jason limps back up the stairs to his market. "That still doesn't answer any of my questions. Why did he pass out though?" Thomas says after an awkward silence making the gathered people laugh. "I'm sorry I superman punched your ass man come with me we can do something about the pain." Alex says. "Besides, I gotta give Riley some antibiotics. I imagine he hasn't been taking care of that leg." Alex adds. Tank cuts the pant leg and slides it away. "Fucking hell boy got a lot of tattoos." Tank whistles. "I didn't say you could do that." Riley grumbles already awake. "You need a check up bro and meds probably." Alex says. "I'm fine." Riley says standing up and stretching. "Unload the truck, I'm going to take a shower." Riley says, rolling his shoulders as he heads towards the upstairs shower. As he enters the bathroom and closes the door Rat leaps up. "Tank, I need your help." Rat says excitedly. "With?" Tank asks slowly, "Okay guys I got Riley a present and I think I can make it super awesome but I need your help distracting him while my super huge and awesome brother here pushes it in." Rat says. "Weren't we all scared of him like five minutes ago?" A girl with dreads and freckles named Marcy says. "Yup so what you guys say wanna see what Riley looks like under the jacket?" Rat says, clapping loudly. The others look at each other and laugh. "Fuck it why not what else do we have to do really?" The blonde girl that is friends with Jessica says. "Excellent so Tank the thing is under a tarp outside by the blue pickup truck." Rat says smiling. "How come you don't get me presents?" Tank asks. "You are always here my guy but I have my eye on something for you." Rat says laughing. Upstairs they hear the door open. "Go go go go go go." Rat says shoving Tank out the garage door. The clan sits patiently until Riley's wet red hair comes into view. "What are you doing?" Riley asks, staring at the expectant looking people. "So we have gathered our points and it's time Ri. Show us the tats." Rat says happily beaming. "You were serious?" Riley says laughing. "Yes I am." Rat says smiling. "Like now?" Riley asks, turning red with embarrassment. "Dude your face is getting as red as your hair." Alex says plopping down handing Thomas a pill. "Don't move around to much after you take that." Alex warns. "Come on Ri, a deal is a deal, is a deal." Rat whines. Riley releases a heavy sigh. "Fuck." He grumbles taking his jacket off. "Do I really have to?" Riley asks without turning around. "Yes!" The members of Crystal Lake say in unison. "You need to get a hobby." Riley says, pulling his shirt off. The students gasp. "Happy?" Riley asks, looking at Rat. "Dude, that is awesome." Rat says. The others all crowd closer. "Do these mean anything?" Marcy asks. "Some." Riley says, accepting his fate as the new tv for a moment. "Did these hurt?" Jessica asks, pointing at the spine and ribs tattooed over Riley's own. "Yup, especially the ribs." Riley says. "What's that on your neck say?" Marcy asks. "Memoriae sunt meus maledictio et meus potentia?" Riley asks. "Sure." Marcy says chuckling. "Its Latin for memories are my curse and my power." Riley says. "Cool." Several people say. "Dude do you find it ironic you have zombies all over your arm, and you now are like a zombicidal maniac?" Thomas asks with a slight lisp from his swollen mouth or Alex's mystery drug Riley didn't bother the guess. "I do get a kick out of it now that you mention it." Riley says stifling a laugh. "Do you have more than this?" The shy blonde asks. "From my jaw to the tops of my feet." Riley answers. "How did you get all these and like when did you start?" A fellow ginger girl asks. "When my family died I was taught things by these rather unusual friends of my dads, and they just started tattooing me around 9 until just before this world came." Riley says. "Do you remember your first tattoo?" Rat asks. "Yup this one." Riley points at his throat where a centipede crawled all the way around. "Damn how bad did that one hurt?" Alex asks, rubbing his neck. "Kinda felt good actually." Riley replies. "Can we see the other tattoos?" Jessica and the shy blonde ask. "I'm not taking my pants off." Riley says sternly. "Pretty please." Alex asks. Riley stares at the boy for a long while. "I'll give you all a fun little gamble you guess what is there and if you get it right I'll show you." Riley rubs his chin. "And throw points in per guess so kinda like you gotta buy your guesses 50 points a piece." Riley nods amused with himself. "Rat, Can I show Riley his. Sweet tattooed Jesus." Tank says seeing Riley without his shirt on. "Let it out." Riley says, waving his hand. "Has anyone ever told you you have a very sexy physical appearance?" Tank says turning red. "You know that sounds weird right?" Alex says. "Oh you mean gay right?" Tank asks. "Yeah a little." Alex answers. "Oh good cause I am." Tank says smiling. "You are what?" Thomas asks. "Sorry, what I meant to say is that I like dick, sad boys, men, schlongs. Do I need to go on?" Tank says. "Oh." Alex says. "Good for you Tank." Riley says, giving the boy a thumbs up and smiling. "Dude that we don't tolerate prejudice punch makes so much more sense now, I mean you weren't wrong but damn dude I did not see that coming." Rat says. "Anyways Rat can I show Riley now?" Tank asks. "Oh shit yeah bring it in, Riley face the wall." Rat says "What?" Riley asks. Everyone leaps forward and turns the boy to face away from the opening in the garage.
