Nancy went out early in the morning way before Ryan wakes up.
"Lucy-jie, morning. Have you seen Nancy?" Ryan greeted Lucy.
"I think she went out early morning. Even her shoes are no longer here" Lucy explained.
Ryan was kind of sad and thought that Nancy needed more time before she will come back to SOHO. But actually, Nancy already planned the day well.
Nancy arrived at SOHO way before everyone starts work. Nancy looks around at her office and sat on her seat.
"Everything seems the same even after a year" Nancy smiles and spins her chair.
Anna, Alice and Ricky clocks in and was shocked to see why the lights are on when usually they will be the one switching on the lights.
Ricky taps on Alice "hey i think someone is there…is it a ghost??"
"Don't nonsense its 9am! Where is there ghost at this timing" Alice was scared as well.
The 3 of them lock hands with one another and slowly went to see who was there.
"SURPRISED!!" Nancy shouted and everyone screamed!
Nancy laughed her lungs out after seeing how scared they were.
The 3 of them screamed Nancy name and hugs her! They missed her so much and was so glad that she's back.
Ryan and Desmond come in too, "What's with all the screaming?" Desmond said.
"Boss!! Nancy is back!!" Anna was so excited to share the news.
Ryan was so shocked to see Nancy but kept a poker face to maintain his image. He slowly walks towards Nancy and softly said "You're back"
Nancy then smiles.
"Then…Party's over! Get back to work!" Ryan turns and walks back to him office. When no one was looking he was actually smiling.
Everyone was shocked from the seriousness and they kept quiet till Ryan and Desmond left.
After they are out of sight, they continue to catch up with one another.
"Let's have dinner, karaoke and drink our hearts out since it is weekend tomorrow!" Anna, the queen of gossip suggested and everyone agrees!
Nancy went to Ryan's office to follow up about work.
*Knocks*
"My dear boss, aren't you happy that I'm back?" Nancy smirks.
"Of course i am. But you know, i got to keep that image" Ryan explains.
"Fine, you and your image. Anyways we are having dinner and karaoke tonight in a way to celebrate my return? So you as a boss don't you think you need to…" Nancy tried to hint Ryan.
"Fine fine. My treat let me know where and me and Desmond will be there" Ryan volunteered.
"Awesome! But…remember. Its after shift so please don't give that poker face to them and make them feel so uncomfortable" Nancy pleaded.
They then discuss and follow up about work.
45 minutes later, Nancy went back to her seat and announced to the team that Ryan will be treating and they were excited yet nervous for it.
