Chereads / Year 20XX / Chapter 8 - CHAP 8

Chapter 8 - CHAP 8

It's the year 20XX and I'm right now enjoying a lollipop while playing with Kai. Its been seven months since we moved to this town, everything has been peaceful and quiet. I and Val are taking things slow so we're not really in a relationship. Kai grew up quiet a lot, he's over a year old. "Its been so quiet lately," Ria commented and I nodded to what she said. "Shut up dude, you're going to jinx it." Alex yelled and Kai turned to him. "Lele, play." Kai waddled to Alex and Alex picked him up.

"Come on little guy, piggyback ride." Alex put him on his back started running around. I smiled brightly watching Kai giggle and squeal while playing with Alex. "Al Al," I turned to where Kai was pointing at and saw the ones who went out returning. I gave Vic a small hug and Joel a fist bump, I shyly gave Val a quick kiss. "Welcome back," Ria said and helped Joel with the stuff they found.

"Yo, you guys got flour and canned tomatoes. Cheese too?" Ria asked shocked and pulled all the stuff out. Rosh signed saying we can make a pizza from all the ingredients. "Pi'a Pi'a," Kai cheered and giggled when Val picked him up from Alex's back. Alex pouted in the corner while Val hugged Kai and cheered with him. My heart really couldn't take it but like before good moments don't last forever.

"Well well, looks like we got company here guys." An unrecognizable voice echoed through the walls as another group of teenagers around our age appeared. "They've even got a baby," a girl cooed but her expression changed quick, "disgusting." I almost walked over to her and beat the crap out of her fake bimbo ass but Rosh held me back.

"Excuse me but you guys are in our area," Val explained nicely but they didn't take it seriously. "Frankly, We don't give a damn." The bimbo girl said mockingly which pissed us all off. "You bimbo bitch, say another damn word and I'll rip that fake plastic lips off your face," Vic yelled while Ria and Joel held her back.

The bimbo girl glared but with a smirk, she really is infuriating. "We can settle this in a civil wa-" Val's words were cut off by someone's fist. "Val! " We all yelled, this was what pushed all of over the edge. I ran past everyone and took Val aside, Kai had teary eyes from watching the violence breaking out.

"Papa, Al Al." Kai cried climbing into my arms, Val spat out some blood and wiped the crimson liquid of his face. "Shh, papa is here baby. Val is okay," I hugged Kai tightly and checked up on Val. "Are you alright?" I asked concerned. "Except for the fact that I'm pissed and have a bruised lip which is bleeding, I'm okay." He joked but reassured anyway.

"Hold Kai," I gave Kai to Val who looked like he wanted to say something but didn't. "Don't get injured," he said sternly and I nodded. I picked up my bat and slowly walked to where the fighting was at. "You messed with the wrong group," I mumbled and swung my bat at one of the guys who ran towards me. I heard a crack, probably from his rib breaking from the impact.

The others all turned their eyes towards me, the intruders were wary of me and decided to attack me first. Biggest mistake they could have made, I was determined to break their bones for even thinking of messing with us, The Outcasts. "Adrino!" Our group yelled except for Val who knew I could handle myself and wouldn't back down for anything.

"Little bastard, I'll break all your bones!" The bimbo bitch from earlier yelled and ran at me. "This is for being so annoying," I ducked her punch and hit her right in the back of the head, "Two down and three left, tell me your names before I knock all you guys out." I joked and grinned. "This is for hurting Emily and Jason," another guy charged at me, "So that's their names, thank you for telling me."

This guy was running over to hit me like the other two did but instead of punching he kicked, I didn't have enough to dodge and ended getting kicked. "Smart guy," I complimented and took a step back from him. Before he could get close, I bent down and tripped him. He went falling face first onto the floor, for extra precaution I hit him on the head.

"He's way too dangerous, Will." One of them whispered which didn't go unnoticed, my expression and body turned emotionless. "Shut up," I mumbled which even heard probably, my expression began turning dark like how a clear sky gets taken over by dark rain clouds.

"Just shut up and leave. Just leave, we don't want anymore trouble." I ordered in a cold tone, from where I stood I think I saw the others shiver and flinch at the tone of my voice. "Yes, we'll do that," the leader, Will walked towards me with his hands above his head, "we'll just drag them away."

I naively thought he would actually do that but right as he got in front of me, he pulled a knife out of his pocket and cut my arm. He was aiming for my face I guess but I blocked it with my arm, he did leave a small cut on my forehead. I hissed but punched him with my other arm breaking his nose and grabbed his neck, putting him a headlock and pushed him to the ground.

"I told you to leave and you should have listened," he grunted and tried to pry my hand away but I used my knee to hold him down harder. "Please let us go," the only one who didn't get injured begged, I ignored his pleas. "Ria, rope. It's better if we tie them up," right then, Will passed out from the lack of oxygen. I let him go and got up, blood was seeping out the cuts and I had to keep one of my eyes closed because of the blood from my forehead.

I walked up to Val and sat beside him, Kai had his eyes and ears closed, something that Val would have to done earlier. "You're bleeding," Val pointed out the obvious. "No shit Sherlock," I grumbled and wiped the blood away from my eye. "You're losing a lot of blood, Vic bandages now." Val yelled to Vic who snapped out of her shock and went looking for bandages and stuff.

That's all I can remember then it all went dark.
