Surrender?
Well, that's not entirely out of the question.
How about we all sit down and have a proper discussion?
Surrendering is surrendering, but for something as significant as this, there should indeed be some sort of protocol, shouldn't there?
Let's take it step by step.
For instance, to whom should the sacred tree sapling be surrendered? The Wood tribe? The Soul tribe? Or maybe the Root tribe?
Doesn't the Leaf tribe deserve a say in this matter? Shouldn't you try to garner the support of the Leaf tribe?
Or perhaps the three major tribes should have a preliminary discussion? Or would you prefer settling it with a brawl?
Fang Heng seemed to think that with a bit more persuasion, he could at least delay things for another half an hour. Unfortunately, he completely blew it, thanks to Vannes, that infatuated fool!
And now, both sides are back in the heat of battle!
