A series of purple light beams pierced through the black fog in the passage ahead.
Immediately, from the area shrouded in black fog, there came the sounds of "puffing" and "squeaking".
After a few rounds of salvos, the energy beam guns in the guards' hands went into an overheated state. Everyone switched their magazines and stared at the entrance of the passage.
All the windows that could be opened had been broken, and the ventilation system was running at full capacity. The black fog was already showing signs of dissipating. At least, it wasn't as dense as before.
Through the black fog, the guards could vaguely see some shadows in the passage.
