Chapter 5 - Lamborghini

Damn, he could buy a Lamborghini for just $9.90?!

Christopher sat up in bed excitedly. Among the sports cars, his favorite was the Lamborghini series.

Without any hesitation, he said, "Buy, I want as many as I can!"

It would be foolish not to accept such a low price.

"Ding, successful purchase. Congratulations, host, on obtaining a Lamborghini Veneno!"

After the system's voice disappeared, Christopher immediately got up excitedly. He was still thinking in his mind.

How am I supposed to collect the goods?

At this moment, his phone rang. He hurriedly picked it up and heard a sweet girl's voice.

"May I know if you're Mr. Christopher? Hello, this is New York City's Lamborghini Flagship Store. We've already received the order for the limited edition Lamborghini Veneno. We happen to have the vehicle here. When are you coming to get the car?"

Christopher took a deep breath and muttered in his mind, Calm down, calm down. I have to calm down!

However, he couldn't help but say, "I'll be right there. Get the car ready!"

Damn, my dream finally came true. I can finally drive a Lamborghini.

After hanging up, Christopher danced excitedly. Then, he quickly put on his clothes and rushed to the Lamborghini Flagship Store.

In the entire New York City, there was only one Lamborghini Flagship Store. Christopher went there before, but he could only stand at the door and look inside. He didn't have money and did not have the confidence to go in.

However, it was different now. He had bought a limited edition car. He was here to collect the car!

Christopher straightened his back and swaggered in. However, as soon as he entered, he saw a few familiar faces!

Three young men and women wearing work clothes were holding folders as if they were being chased out. One of the young ladies said, "Please let me finish explaining the proposal. Our company really understands your company's culture and style. We're definitely qualified to advertise this car exhibition!"

Unfortunately, no one listened to her.

Seeing these people, Christopher couldn't help but narrow his eyes.

Heh, what a coincidence. It was actually his colleagues from the previous company. But these few people really had the guts to come here to promote their proposal? With the company's size, how could the other party be interested?

Previously, Christopher worked in a small advertising company and did administrative work. The three people in front of him were from the company's sales department!

The three of them were pushed out of the door. They looked angry and depressed. One of the thin and tall men said, "Sophie, I told you. Our company is small. There's no way we can get an advertisement for such a luxurious car brand. You insisted on not listening and dragged us here to embarrass ourselves!"

The other short person also complained, "That's right. If they want to do advertisements, wouldn't they have to find the most famous advertising companies in the country? How can we do it!"

The girl called Sophie lowered her head, feeling a little aggrieved and guilty. She had just started working and was in a state of enthusiasm and anticipation. She thought that as long as her proposal was diligent and perfect, she could still move the big client.

Christopher remembered their names. The thin and tall one was called Shaun, and he was a sly old fox.

The short man was called John. All he did was suck up to his leader.

As for the girl, Sophie, Christopher had a good impression of her. The girl was beautiful and could really do things properly!

He originally wanted to go over and greet them.

John said, "Sophie, I think you're dreaming. You've been following that loser Christopher for a long time. Listen to me. Don't interact with that kind of person anymore. Learning from me is the right way to go!"

John had long taken a fancy to Sophie. But he was dissatisfied because she was close to Christopher. Now, he took the opportunity to sow discord.

Sophie frowned slightly and glanced at him.

"John, don't say that about Christopher. I think he's quite creative. Many of my proposals were inspired by him."

Hearing this, John was very disdainful. He wanted to say something, but Shaun also said unhappily, "Don't tell me that he's the one who encouraged you to come here to talk about cooperation. That bastard Christopher actually dared to do such things. Isn't he crazy? What kind of stupid idea can a useless person have?"

He had originally come over out of convenience. In any case, he had nothing to do and did not mind tagging along. If they succeeded, he could shamelessly tell his boss that he was responsible for it. If it failed, he wouldn't lose anything.

Unexpectedly, the person in charge's words were too harsh. He even mocked Shaun.

Now, he was filled with anger.

Sophie lowered her head. Everyone was unhappy now. She knew in her mind that she shouldn't push all the negative emotions onto Christopher. What did this have to do with him?

She was about to say something when she heard a calm voice. "I didn't know that the two of you liked to speak ill of others behind their backs, but it's within my expectations. You don't seem like good people, to begin with!"

The three of them looked over and saw Christopher smiling coldly at them.

John and Shaun were stunned.

Why was this kid here?

However, they quickly recovered. John sneered and said, "What? Am I wrong? You're a loser. You've graduated for more than a year, but isn't your monthly salary still four or five thousand? Last month, my salary was two or three times your pathetic salary!"

Christopher sneered. The income structure of sales and administration was different, to begin with. Sales depended on performance. Why didn't he say that his base salary was one or two thousand a month?

Moreover, he had only earned a lot last month. It was the boss who had agreed to give him almost all the business. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to take so much. He still had the cheeks to talk about this!

Shaun also sneered. "Christopher, think about yourself. You didn't go to the office this morning. I've already reported it to the boss. When you go back, it'll be deducted from your salary!"

Sophie looked at Christopher worriedly. She had sent him a few messages in the morning to remind him to go to work, but he had not replied. Now, the boss was angry because of this!

Christopher laughed. Did he still need to work with his current status?

He smiled and said, "I didn't go to work because I want to teach you two how to discuss business. Sophie's proposal is very good, but there will definitely be no result if you two useless people are with her. I had to come. When we finish discussing business, will the boss still blame me for not going to work?"

What? He was here to discuss business? What was he bragging about?

John and Shaun looked at each other, their minds filled with disdain.

"What business can you discuss? Moreover, there's no business here, to begin with. It doesn't matter who comes."

"That's right. The person in charge of the Lamborghini Flagship Store said that if you want to talk about business, get a car first. If you have the ability, buy a sports car. What's the point of bragging here?"

Christopher smiled and said indifferently, "I've already bought mine!"
