Chapter 1 - The ending

Everything is normal, really.

The sun is shining brightly, the trees are alive as the birds sang their morning graces to mother nature, the gentle breeze on the meadows is still a relaxing scene.

His vision adjusted after having his long nap. The light blue color of the sky welcomed him, the clouds waving. It is a familiar scene and that sense of deja vu made him sit right up quickly. This is not a dream is it? he could feel the grass, he could clearly smell the mouth wattering scent of freshly baked bread which made his stomach growl.

"Good. You are awake."

and that voice broke him like a hammer hitting a fragile vase. Before even looking at his left, he dons a scowl and release a sigh.

He is still here...

He heard the grass beside him rustle about and two hands clashing as if brushing something away.

A boy then say, "Let's go."

Everything is normal, really.

Not until he is reminded of the fact that he went back to the past and worse, during the war between the beastly night creatures versus the soldiers of the Holy Land — Constantine Empire.

Even worse, he is stuck with the man never in a million years will he thought of being with.

"aren't you coming?" annoyance is already evident in his tone that was once monotone and devoid of emotions.

The boy scowls secretly, at least he thought, as he pushes himself up from the ground and pat away the dirt that got stuck on his back. A few grass here and there. He ruffled his silver hair, picks up his straw hat to block the scorching sun's glare and run after his companion's steps.

"you know that I really hate you, right?" he says to his companion.

"the feeling is mutual." which he casually reply.

They stopped at the edge of a cliff. Small rocks crumbled beneath them, a wider view of the Holy City graced their eyes. It's golden glory stood above all else, reflecting the graces of the sun and it's love for its own color.

"now..."

"how should we stop that?"

Everything is normal, as long as it is not with this guy.

"by will power."

"by what?!"
