Sydney take a deep breath and walk passed by the living room. The room is luxurious and big enough to fit 3 families but she couldn't admire the scene fully because of Ivan. She like to think that Kian is wrong and Ivan is not really affected because why would he be? It's not as if he is her boyfriend. Well even if he's affected or not, maybe she should apologize after all she owe him a lot today. She's standing for a while in front of his room before she decided to knock.
Ivan who decided to drink hears footstep and thought that it was Kian again. Kian tried to convince him to talk to Sydney about what he saw. He's hurt, angry and he couldn't name all the emotions that he felt right now. He expected this night to be wonderful for both of them. His plans turned out the way he wanted except for what he witness a while ago. He's too angry on his self that he didn't wait to hear her answer on what Bryan is confessing to her. He was about to drink another shot of vodka when he heard knocks on his door. He opened it and there he saw the woman who he can't stop thinking about. He looked at her and walks directly to the living room and seat on the sofa. She followed him.
"I'm here to get my other things, the staff said its here" she said trying to eased the awkward mood between them. He doesnt say anything and just drink his alcohol once again. "Can you just tell me where it is so I can go home now? It's getting late" she said once again.
"Why are you in a hurry to leave? Will Bryan take you home? Or somewhere " He asked coldy, without looking at her.
"What? Ofcourse not, he already left. Im going home because I'm tired and I want to rest" she explained to him.
"So he left you? After he kissed you? What a lame excused" he said once again. But this time his words are harshed. Sydney closed her eyes for a moment and told herself not to be affected.
"Excused? Why should I do that?"she asked back trying to avoid the conversation about the kissed.
"Really ? You don't know? Or your just good at pretending?!" His voice raised "did you enjoy the his kiss?, I just realized what kind of woman are you"
"Why are we even talking about these things? What is that got to do with you? Isn't it my private life already that you are trying to control? I don't have to explain to you but for the record we didn't kissed, he kissed me and I was not aware that he would do it!"
"So you aren't obligated to explain what I saw? After what I did for you today? Atleast have some decency and moral in front of your boss! You didn't even react when he kissed you" he said angryly looking at her as if he wants to crashed her.
"You're so quick to jump into conclusion and insult me without asking me first on what really happened. What are we Ivan? Why do we have to argue like this? From what I remember, we don't have any relationship so stop nagging me" she said feeling hurt on his insults.
Ivan stand up after she said the words that they don't have a relationship. It's the first time she saw him this angry and cold to her that she fears him now. He quickly pulled her arms towards him and claimed her lips harshely. He encircled his arms around her waist tightly so she could not escape.
Sydney tried to resist and free herself from his kiss and embrace but he was strong than her. He was her ruthlessly and she was really shocked by what he's doing. Is he really like this when he's mad. She lost all the energy to resist him and he took advantage of it by pinning her down on the sofa while kissing her. He left his lips and started kissing her on her neck. It brings shiver to her body and at that moment she started to fear him and beg him to stop. He went back to her lips and silence her.
"Ivan please stop!" She begged him in between his kisses.
"I will erase that man's kiss in your mind" he said not listening to her begging. "You're mine! Only mine!
"Ivan please, you're hurting me, please stop!" She put her hand on his chest trying to push him away. He started to open up the zipper of the dress in front her chest. She couldn't control her gasped on what he did. She just cried helplessly and stop from struggling. She thought that there is no point in stopping him because he would not listen.
Ivan was alarmed when he tasted her tears and noticed that she stopped from struggling. He saw the fear in her eyes and the continues flow of her tears from her eyes. Her lips are almost swollen and her neck had a red marks. She's too afraid to even look at him. He started to loosen his grip on her and held her back to seat and lean on the sofa.
"Oh God, what have I done!" He whispered to his self while massaging his temple and forehead. He must have drink too much because of his frustration. He sit beside her not saying anything but it doesn't change the fact about what he said a while ago that she was his.
Sydney slowly calm down after he stopped and sit beside her. She didn't expect this to happen to both of them and she understand that he's mad at her plus the alcohol that he drink. She started to fix herself after a long moment of silence between them. She expected him to apologize but he's just sitting beside her with blank expression. He heard her stand up and about to leave. The hell she cares on her other belongings.
"Your other belongings is on the pool's lounge chair" he speak all of a sudden.
She look at him and just proceed to go on the swimming pool. She didn't have any hard time looking for it. She just walk and turn to her left then he saw a large glass window and outside is the swimming pool. She doesn't notice right away that there is something on the pool area. She opened the door and couldn't believe what she saw. There were sunflowers floating on the pool and on top of the flowers are scented candles. Mixture of roses and sunflowers were arrange on the pathway where she's walking as well as red petals from rose and yellow petals of sunflower were scattered on the grass and bricks floor of the pool. Her name is in front of the wall made out of Neon lights with another flower arrangement at the back of it. The table and two chairs in the center take her attention right away because of how the table was set in a romantic way.
"Did he planned all if this for her?" She asked herself silently. While she was admiring the lanterns that are floating she didn't notice that Ivan followed her and watch her as she roam her eyes on the surprise that he made for her.
He planned everything for her yesterday and how he wished that he didn't start the fight and arguments. This was supposed to be a special day for her, it's her birthday but he ruined it because of jealousy. He wanted her to forget about Bryan's kiss that's why he force his self on her. He wanted her to apologize to him because she allowed Bryan to kiss her and he didn't listen to her explantion because he was too blinded by anger. He knew the fear she felt when he started to take advantage of her. He wants her to fear him and follow what he wants that time. She's not aware that the more she resist and move the more he felt aroused and hot. It's a ls if like he was poared with a hot water when she stop resisting and he tasted her tears.
"I'm jealous and enraged when I saw him kissed you" Ivan said speaking behind her. She turned around and look at him. "I can't stand seeing you being sweet with other man except me. I regret my actions towards you, I regret forcing you and making you cry and even if you reject right now I will not stop until I make you mine because I love you" he said sincerely and hugged her.
Sydney tried to processed everything that she hear from him although he said a few times that he likes her it's still a revelation to her when he said that he love her. She tried to avoid giving any meaning to what he's showing her this past few days. He's the CEO, rich , handsome, smart and who knows how many women did he tell those words too. But hearing it from him while he looks directly in her eyes is something really breathtaking. She's loss for words and all she could do was to listen to him. Gone is the hate that she felt a while a go or was there really a hate?
