Ivan just got off the plane with his assistant. They were scorted by their bodyguards on the hotel where he would stay for a couple of days. Yesterday, he was about to interview the architect that Mark recommended but he received a call from their branch in Rose Country that there is an emergency. So he just let Sara handle the interview on the female architect. One of their building that is under construction collapse and there were almost 50 people who are wounded.
When they finally arrived at the hotel, he instructed his assistant to call the hospitals where the construction workers are confined and being treated to be able to compensate their families and paid their hospital bills. He also wants to assure the workers that once they recovered they can still apply for a job and do another project under their company.
Tomorrow they will be going to the site of accident, he also hired someone to look into the reason why their building collapse. They never used substandards materials in any of the building that they built so it's suspicious to him why all if these happened. The only consolation that he feels is that the building's construction state when it collapse was only in 2nd floor, so it did not affect anymore people and buildings that was nearby the site.
"Sir? Ms.Tanya called a while ago and wants to talk to you but I told the Miss that your busy and have an urgent matter to attend to" Nico explained
Tanya is a model and one of the daughter of his father's business partner. And now that he takes over the company, he also had to deal with that brat following him around and demanding a lot from him.
They only had a one night stand a year ago while he was drunk. He didn't know what exactly happened but it was confirmed that someone put something on his drinks that night. He woke up beside her nude body and he was nude too. From that day on she always follow him and demanded him to take responsibility about what happened between the two of them.
She even fake her pregnancy just to convinced me to marry her. When i discover her lies I talked to his father and tell him that I am not afraid to cut our relationship as business partners if her daughter continue to messed up with his job and life. He doesn't want anything to do with her. She tone down a little bit but now she's back again from following him.
He looked at Nico and said "Do not entertain her anymore"
Nico looked back at him as his attention was already on the documents in front of him.
"I'm just wondering sir, Miss Tanya will never stop because she knew that your not into relationship with someone else . Maybe sir if you have a girlfriend she will eventually stop following you around" Nico suggesting out of nowhere
Ivan suddenly stop what he's doing.
"You're right, maybe I should have a girlfriend"
Ivan remembers something after he said the word "Girlfriend" he still thinks of the woman in the elevator and she occupies his mind a couple of times since the last time he saw her. He knows that he can find her and who she is but he is not the type of person who stalk on people. Who knows, maybe faith will brought them to each other.
He didn't notice that Nico smiled at what he said. He's happy that the CEO wants to take his advice but his more happy because he could sense that his boss has a special someone on his heart right now.
7 days passed by so slowly atleast that was what Ivan is thinking about staying in this hotel. He already finished reviewing a lot of reports and coordinate everything to the engineers and architect about the situation in the site. His people already hired new workers to reestablished the building that collapsed a few days ago. He plans to go home tomorrow morning so he wants to make sure that everything is ok before he left.
He decided to call his mom and tell her that he will visit her tomorrow morning to have breakfast with her.
"Hi Mom!, I will be coming tomorrow morning to visit you and Dad" he said directly to her mother
"Oh son, I've been worried about you. You are always busy" her mom worriedly told him
"Let's just talk about it when I come home Mom, there are still things here that i need to finish before coming home."
"Alright son, but don't forget to call me tomorrow before you board the plane."
He ended the call. His Mom was right that he has always been busy for the past 3 years since he took over the company as the new CEO. His brothers was also in different fields and busy just like him. He knows his Mom misses them so he decided to pay a visit tomorrow.
He finished all his agenda today and Nico already book a flight at 4am in the morning tomorrow. Ivan wants to rests early so after he eats and take a shower, he just made a few phone calls informing his staffs in M City that he will be back tomorrow and prepare their proposals about the new project.
He woke up at 3:30 am and get ready to board the plane. It is his private plain thats why he could leave anytime he wants. They boarded the plane and it took off exactly at 4 am. He sleep a little bit on the plane.
The plane landed at the M City airport. The driver were already waiting for them. He told the driver to go to her Mom's Mansion. The driver starts the car and headed to the Lim's Mansion. While in the plane he already called her Mom and tell her he's coming soon so her mother can have enough time to prepare some foods for him.
The car entered the gate and stop in front of the door of the Mansion. The butler and the maids were already standing outside. As he goes out of the car and started to walk towards the door the butler greeted him " Goodmorning Sir Ivan. Mrs Lim is waiting for you in the dining area"
"Thank you uncle Franco, how was your daughter's graduation? Is she looking for a job? Ivan asked
"She's very well Sir, I think she found a job already but she didn't tell us exactly where. She transferred here on M City because she said that it was close to her work." Franco explained
"Well if you need anything don't hesitate to call me uncle"
Butler Franco has been working in their family for a long time as well as auntie Amira. Even though they are rich they didn't treat people whose been loyal to them unfairly. He respects Franco and Amira for working so hard to provide the education that their daughter deserves.
"Thank you Sir Ivan" Franco smiled afterward
On the Dining table Margaret stand up from her chair and hugged her son tightly. Ivan returned her mother's hug and kissed her in the forehead.
They both sit on the table. Amira came from the kitchen holding a tray with desserts. She arranged it on the table
"Goodmorning Sir Ivan, I wanted to say thank you for dropping us off at the university on my daughter's graduation"
"You are welcome anytime auntie Amira. Why don't you and uncle Franco join us? "Ivan inviting them to eat
"Oh no sir Ivan we already eat before you came, I have some important things to do. I'll be leaving you to catch up with your Mom" Amira left immediately
"How are you son? How's work?"
"More busy than ever Mom, there are a lot of projects that needs to be finished this year and a lot also that's waiting for my approval for next year. I'm really sorry Mom for making you worried but I promised you I'm fine" he continues to eat after explaining to her mother
"I understand son but your already 30 years old. Aren't you planning to have a family? Do you have a girlfriend? If not I can introduce you to someone" ( Margaret wants to introduce his son to Amira's beautiful daughter )
"Mom I'm already old enough for arranged marriage and beside there is someone that I already like."
Hearing those words Margaret looks at her son " Really? Who is she, why don't you introduce her to us?
"It's because she doesnt know me yet and I don't know her name too." Ivan answered.
Margaret gets confused on what his son is talking about she just continue her breakfast and didn't bother to ask anymore. They finish their breakfast and Ivan said goodbye to his mother. The driver emediately get the car when he saw that he is coming outside.
It's already 9am when he arrived at the company. He used his own elevator that is only dedicated to him. He got up at the last 15th floor and her secretary greeted him. He didn't look and just enter his office.
