Chapter 37 - Angel Without Wings

"Galuh is your sister, don't you have amnesia? The reason she really left us was because your ambition was too strong to match them." Kinanti is getting angry.

Luckily the master bedroom has a soundproof mode so people outside won't be able to hear their arguments.

"Me and Galuh are not siblings, Mom."

"She's just my adopted sister," added Galih. Kinanti was silent, she had no evasion of Galih's words. The man was right, he and Galuh were only adopted brothers.

There is no common blood between the two. Likewise with Ayu and Firman.

"But Galuh left us because you used to keep pushing him to match Firman and Ayu." Kinanti was no longer angry, her intonation slowly decreased.

"Mom ...,"Galih whispered, pressing his wife's shoulders. Galih turned Kinanti's shoulder very gently.

"Galuh didn't give his blessing when he and Gunawan were still alive, but you can see for yourself that God would easily give them his blessing, if God had given His blessing what about Galuh and Gunawan in nirvana there."  Galih's persuasion was able to melt the cold heart of a Kinanti Sekar Kinashi.

Firman didn't mean to refuse  Galih's invitation to have dinner together, but this afternoon Firman had promised Agasa to pick him up at the airport tonight.

Slowly but surely the iron carriage that Firman was driving sped through the streets of the capital city. Hours to go home from work, of course, are the cause of this congestion problem. The estimated travel time from Galih's residence to the airport should be 45 minutes, but because of traffic jams, Firman only arrived an hour later.

By dashing Firman through many people, Firman's beautiful face made many pairs of women's eyes look at him in amazement. From a five meter radius, Firman can see uncle's weak body. A man who has love like daddy himself.

Agasa's body weight is decreasing day by day, it's all because of the Leukemia he has. Firman's steps were not as relaxed as before, he jogged over to Agasa.

"Oh, it's okay." Om Agasa was quick to argue because the man who was the same age as Galih knew that Firman was currently worried about him.

Firman chose not to ignore it and immediately grabbed Agasa's suitcase and dragged him. Both are now in the same car. Firman in the driver's seat and Agasa in the passenger seat.

"Where are you going, Uncle?" said Firman as the car slowly started to leave the airport area. Agasa was silent for a moment, he seemed to be thinking about where to go home.

"Uncle's house, man," said Agasa firmly. Firman and Agasa were silent again, only the sound of a car engine could be heard between them.

Agasa's attention was directed out the window while occasionally looking at the nabastala. The crescent moon there seemed to paint the sweet smile of Suci Indah Ayu.

"Uncle, there is someone who wants to donate his kidney to me." The words of Firman really caught Agasa's attention very quickly. His two eyes were wide. His nephew will recover, Firman Afif is luckier than him. Is this what is called the power of surrender? Firman can hug the girl who became his first love again, get a kidney donor, isn't God good enough for Firman?

"Does he know about your illness?" The person Agasa refers to is of course Ayu. Firman never mentioned Ayu's name when he talked to Agasa. Firman only calls Ayu by her name.

"At first I really wanted to be honest, but I was in a rush to get a donor, so let me postpone it," said Firman, his attention fully focused on the road in front of him.

"Om wants to meet someone who is willing to donate her kidney to you. Uncle wants to thank her," said Agasa. A lethargic shake of the head, Firman gave.

"I've even persuaded Doctor Riyan to meet me with the donor, but he was reluctant. He only wanted the two of us to know during the operation that no one in the family should know," said Firman at length.

Ayu had indeed ordered Doctor Riyan to convey this to Firman if he insisted on wanting to know who had volunteered to donate one of the most important organs of the body.

"Whoever she is, he must have been destined to be your wingless angel," said Agasa.

Ayu is indeed a wingless angel for Firman, everything Ayu has given is priceless. Agasa's face suddenly clouded over and Firman knew what caused it, namely despair.

I don't know when good luck will come in his life. Agasa also wants to recover, wants to feel married, has a complete family with him as the head of the family. Is this the punishment he has to bear for making Angga return to his lap even though in an unintentional context.

"Uncle, I can also be a good listener for you," said Firman. Agasa did not meet, he only gave a faint smile to his nephew.

Suddenly, the cell phone rings from inside Agasa's and Firman's pants pockets.

My Pretty Girl Is Calling....

Agasa's face suddenly brightened when he heard the phone ringing due to a call from Ayu. Great curiosity really tickled Firman's soul, he glanced at  Agasa's cell phone.

Instantly arching his smile, Agasa was finally able to return the love of a woman. Firman is determined that if the operation goes well he will try even harder to find a bone marrow donor for his uncle. Bone marrow donation is a cancer treatment method that is quite effective and without side effects.

Unfortunately, a suitable marrow donor is not always easy to find. Of course it must be outside the Word members to find it. Try hard, Firman Afif, heal your uncle and hopefully after you know the woman who might be your aunt, your heart will still be as strong as a rock.

Remember God will not test his servant beyond the limits of the servant's ability, God chose you because He knows you can get through it. Agasa's hands suddenly trembled, that's what made Firman chuckle.

"Don't pick it up Uncle!" said Firman while shaking his head and a smile was still etched on his sexy lips.
