A burning flame -- one in the capital of the Empire of Alluria. A flame that burned so brightly and passionately that it could, perhaps, be seen from fortresses that were protecting this mighty city. Fortresses that were now obsolete. Children ran through the streets, looking for their parents. And as the burden of protecting the innocent was placed on the shoulders of one man, he knew his duty. The Guardian of the Empire. With the sun set over the horizon, the Guardian, weapon drawn, dashed at a man in flaming armor, his foe. As they clashed, the sound of metal slamming into stone could, and would be heard from neighboring cities. The Guardian, moving at superhuman speeds, had made the mistake of greatly underestimating his opponent. For in the next moment, the Guardian of Fire, Unid, who was unamused at his opponent's sheer weakness in comparison to his own strength, raised his fist into the air. Unid's opponent, now confused, examined his foe's movements very closely. With a devilish grin from Unid, he opened his fist. In an instant, a red flame shot out of his hand, forming the head of a dragon. The beast, flying up into the sky, hovered, and peered down at the foolish mortal. Snarling, sending blinding blue sparks out of its nostrils. Opening its jaws, red mana particles began to build. And finally, before the knight could escape, Unid muttered "Fire." In an instant, the Guardian of the Empire was turned to ash.
