"Ana wake up."
"..."
"AYANA wake up!"
She jumped up wide eyed, hastily looking around for any signs of trouble. Jayce chuckled and explained that she needs to go in with him to get interviewed.
"At what time do we have to be there?"
She asked rubbing out her eyes, still half asleep.
"In 20 minutes."
Jayce smiled mischievously, as he watched Ana race towards her bag franticly digging through her clothes while yelling at him for not waking her up earlier.

While Jayce was driving us to his job and my interview, I started thinking about what I had going for me too actually get this job.
I have zero experience in the bartending industry, I have no clue how to make drinks and I've only just turned 21. Am I even appropriately dressed for this interview?
"We need to go back, I cant look like this in a professional setting."
I said biting my nails while bouncing my leg to keep my nerves steady. Jayce looked at me bewildered and turned his head back too the road.
"What's wrong with a crop top and jeans?"
He asked sounding generally confused, I looked down at my outfit shaking my head.
"I'm showing too much skin, I'm not going in for an interview to be a stripper."
I said jokingly, expecting him to chuckle at said joke but he looked dead serious. He then turned his head to look at me again and said
"You have a cardigan on and besides bartenders are suppose to look sexy to rack in all the money. If its the experience your worried about don't, Ill teach you everything."
I giggled at his statement and relaxed against the seat, calming down tremendously.
"You talk like I've already gotten the job, lets see if I can charm them into giving it to me first."
Jayce and I laughed as we pulled into the bar. We both climbed out and walked to the door, Jayce gave me a reassuring smile as we walked in. He took me to the back and told me to wait for someone named Melissa, he then went back to go clock in I presume.
I stood there looking around and it looks like a nice place everything looks organized and neat, not at all what I thought a bar would look like.
"Hello Ayana."
"Oh shit! Sorry hello you spooked me."
I laughed nervously as I turned around looking at this gorgeous girl. She has short jet black hair, a lip piercing and a hell of a lot tattoos but despite her intimidating appearance I felt comfortable. She smiled and extended her hand, which I gladly accepted.
"My names Melissa, I'm sure Jayce told you about me."
"Ha yeah, are you going to be the one that interviews me?."
"Oh no I'm the one that's gonna teach you everything love."
I raised my brow in confusion, as she chuckled and explained that Jayce is her business partner and that he already hired me.
"How though? I've known Jayce for the longest time and he never brought you up. I swear he's been hiding you from me."
"Its a long story honey but lets get started I have a lot to teach you."
I nodded and followed her as she lead the way. This is gonna be a long day

"Cheers to Ayana's first day!"
Jayce shouted as we all cheered, I shook my head and pulled a face when I tasted the drink Melissa prepared for me.
"Its not my first day yet, poor Melissa still has to teach me a few things."
"Don't drink too much Ana you're still a noobie."
Jayce said giving me a pointed look.
"Let the girl live her life, remember when you started drinking ay? So don't come play the responsible brother role here."
Jayce flipped her off and took a big swig from his drink finishing it, he then went behind the bar to throw himself another. I bopped my head to the music a little when Melissa grabbed my hand.
"Come on love, finish your drink and lets go dance."
She had a huge smile on her face that I just couldn't say no too, so I chugged my drink and allowed her to pull me to the dance floor.
The music was amazing, it made me feel like I was dancing on a cloud. Everything felt loose and my brain felt fuzzy, Melissa was no where to be found but I couldn't care less it was like my anxiety disappear for the time being, I was floating.
All of the sudden I felt 2 hands grab my waist leading my hips to the music, then I saw Jayce coming towards me.
"Hi Jay-"
He grabbed me and pulled me close to him that we were only inches apart, I laughed and asked him what he was doing. He looked pissed at something behind me but I wasn't bothered.
"Lets go home Ana."
He whispered in my ear, I giggled.
"I like it when you do that."
I lazily whispered back into his ear, then I continued dancing when he didn't reply. He suddenly grabbed my waist and turned me around.
"You cant say things like that."
He whispered, I didn't understand what he meant by that so I just kept on dancing. I swayed my hips against his following the rhythm of the music. He groaned and cursed under his breath.
"Come on."
He said as he lifted me up and over his shoulder, I kicked and struggled not believing what he's doing.
"Put me down Jayce!"
"No you obviously drank too much so I'm taking you home, say bye to Melissa."
I saw Melissa and proceeded to yell her a goodbye, waving my one hand franticly. She put both her hands to her mouth and yelled back
"Bye Honey!"
I finally stopped struggling when Jayce dropped me into the car, I crossed my arms and made a pouting face to emphasize that I'm upset with him. He chuckled and shook his head as he started he car.
As we road back home my vision got fuzzy but before I could fully pass out I said one last thing my idiotic brain could think of.
"You're a good dancer, we should do it again."
Black.
