The flames seemed to engulf the entire world, the fierce shockwaves frantically destroying everything around them, the base below reduced to rubble.
Eric flew out of the blast with the metal ball, looked back to make sure there was no danger, then dispersed the force field he had never shown anyone before, looked behind him at the flames, his eyes flashed, and flew in for a second time to make himself look awkward before he landed on the ground with the metal ball.
With a wave of Eric's palm, the ball unfolded to reveal the mutants inside, dazed by the shockwave.
Wow! ...
The dust and debris that had been blown up into the sky fell like a downpour.
The mutants came to their senses and retreated.
Erik, covered in black, with burns and blood at the corners of his mouth, was carried on the back of a raging Fire Venom as he ran off into the distance.
After running for hundreds of metres, Fire Venom put Eric down and fell to the ground, panting heavily.
Eric sat on the ground, 'struggling' to hold on to the ground, looking around at the mutants, all looking at him with gratitude and admiration, as he stubbornly lifted his head, his gaze resolute.
Saved!
Although Erik hadn't saved everyone, he had saved a good half of them, reversing the near total annihilation of the them.
"Magneto!"
Finally, one man shouted.
And then ...
Magneto! Magneto!
The shouts came together and became a unified shout.
Vulcan looked over at Eric and raised his thumb.
Eric gave a smile.
It seemed ... that what he had learned from Charles was still working (A/N: Charles is a great Actor.)
...
While Eric was enjoying the cheer, Charles was also busy on his side.
The two times that Charles has worked with S.H.I.E.L.D., he has managed to make a name for himself.
But unfortunately, as things stand, he still doesn't have the strong support he needs to get the school off the ground.
His value, the need to create the school, has not yet been realised.
But he was in no hurry, the opportunity would arise, and even if it did not, Eric would create it.
Today, early in the morning, he took Jean to the New York Library to look for information.
On the way back to school, they met something interesting, someone interesting, to be precise.
It was a mutant girl.
With short, beautiful white hair, agile as a cat-like mutant.
When they saw each other, it was in an out-of-the-way alleyway, and the other just happened to be clutching a wallet from a passing pedestrian.
Realising that her actions had been witnessed by two strangers, the girl, who was about the same age as Jean, grinned threateningly at Charles and Jean, and after the stolen man had turned his back on her, she proudly waved the wallet in her hand and took out two large-denomination notes, kissed them with some reluctance and shoved them into Charles' arms, saying, "Don't mind your own business, handsome."
Charles and Jean froze, Jean couldn't help but laugh, turned her head to look at Charles, saw the corners of Charles' mouth twitching, couldn't help but laugh out loud.
Charles said helplessly, "Jean."
Jean covered her mouth and twisted her body to one side, but her shoulders were still shaking gently.
The girl looked at the two of them and grimaced.
"Idiots."
She muttered and was about to walk off into the distance when Charles grabbed her hand.
Startled, the girl said angrily, "What do you want? Let go of me or I won't be polite."
Charles let go of his opponent and smiled, "That's not enough money for a coffee."
The girl looked at Charles warily and said, "You're trying to blackmail me!"
Charles: "..."
Do I look like I don't have any money?
I'll sue you, I'm a rich kid!
A thought flashed through Charles' mind, and with a soft cough, he handed the girl the money in his hand and said, "You have to give it back to that man just now."
The girl took the money from Charles, looked him up and down, grinned at him and said, "You're sick!"
With those words, she flicked her short hair and walked forward.
Charles grabbed the girl again, but this time he felt a needle in his palm just as he touched her, and subconsciously let her go.
A bolt of electricity flashed through the girl's body and she threatened Charles, "Don't ask for it."
Often when she displayed such powers, the men would scream monster and flee in fear.
But she watched as Charles cocked his head and he smiled at her.
"That's your mutant power?"
"Hmm?"
The girl froze, then her eyes widened as she didn't see Charles open his mouth, but his voice rang out in her head.
"You... you're a mutant too?"
The girl cried out in surprise.
Charles nodded and said, "Get reacquainted, my name is Charles!"
The girl took a step backwards and said, "My name is ..."
With that, she turned around and ran.
Charles froze and with a gaze, used his powers to hold his opponent in place and said, "I mean you no harm."
The girl was horrified, what was this power?
Sensing the fear in the girl's heart, Charles lifted his power and said, "I just want to talk to you."
Suddenly the wind appeared without warning and the girl's eyes turned white in front of her face.
Lightning moved around the girl's hands, as if it would burst out at any moment and scorch the enemy in front of her.
There was a flash of surprise in Charles' eyes, then he shook his head and used his powers to control his opponent again.
In an instant, all the anomalies disappeared and Charles spoke directly to his purpose.
"I am a teacher at a school, and I would like to invite you to our school."
"A school?"
At these words, the girl, who had been a little frightened, froze.
"Yes, a school for mutants."
"A school?"
----
The girl froze.
Charles lifted his powers and smiled, "Yes, go to school! You can learn there and make new friends!"
After a pause, he affirmed, "You don't like doing that all the time either, do you?"
The girl was silent for a moment, then smiled sagely and said, "I can try! But if I don't like it, I'll leave!"
Charles smiled, "You're welcome."
"You can call me Ororo." The girl smiled and suddenly thought of something, her face changed and she said, "Tuition is very expensive, isn't it?"
"Haha!"
"That's no problem!"
Ororo breathed a sigh of relief.
"First lesson of the school year then." Charles reached out and pointed to the wallet in Ororo's hand and said, "Return this to the owner."
Ororo tossed the wallet, a little distressed, but said, "All right, boss, your call."
"Jean, you go with Ororo."
Jean nodded, "Come with me."
Ororo hurriedly followed, and the two of them chatted quietly as they walked.
Looking at their backs, Charles gave a smile.
How nice, another student.
