His name was Agler, he was a thirty years old man who worked as a hitman. Agler has been doing this job since he was seventeen years old. As an assassin, his life is mysterious. He rarely interacts with other people, has no friends, has no clear identity. His place of residence is not fixed, he always moves from one place to another after carrying out his mission.
Agler has been living on the Borneo Island for a month to carry out his mission. He is assigned to kill a gun mafia who living on the island. After conducting reconnaissance for a month, that night Agler incapacitated the target. He intercepted the target on a deserted road near a forest. The mafia boss was escorted by three large bodyguards. They had just had an alcoholic binge at a bar. They looked very drunk. But that's what makes it easier for Agler to incapacitate them. Agler managed to defeat the three large bodyguards, but the mafia boss managed to escape into the forest.
Agler chased after the mob boss, but the forest was so thick with trees that even the light of the full moon that night had trouble getting through. Agler had studied the ins and outs of the forest, so it wasn't too difficult for him to catch up to the target. On the edge of a cliff, the mob boss stopped. He found a dead end. He couldn't turn around because Agler was standing behind him.
Agler give a smile when he saw his target frightened. "Your life will end tonight. I'll give you two choices of ways to die: to die by my hands, or to die by the beasts of the abyss," Agler said.
The mafia boss inched backwards. "Who are you? Why do you want to kill me? Are you Charley's man?" said the Mafia Boss in a trembling voice.
"We don't need to get acquainted. Let's just say I'm the angel of death who came to kill you," said Agler, pointing a gun.
The mob boss tried to flee towards himself, but Agler immediately fired a bullet that hit his right calf. The mafia boss fell to the ground. He tried to get up, but the bullets kept raining down on him.
"Arrghhh…!" The mafia boss groaned. And that was the last sound that came out of his mouth.
After confirming that the target was dead, Agler dragged the corpse and threw it into the abyss.
Agler took his cell phone out of his pocket and called someone. "Report, Boss! Mission accomplished. The target has become a corpse," he said.
"Good job. I'll transfer the bonus to you tonight," someone on the phone replied.
After the call ended, Agler took off his face mask and gloves and threw them into the abyss. Agler breathed a sigh of relief at having carried out the mission. He was determined to quit the job. The assassination mission that night was the last assassination mission he would undertake.
As he was about to leave the forest, Agler heard a rustling sound from behind the leaves. Quickly, Agler pulled out his gun again and aimed it at the source of the sound. "Who is there?" he shouted.
Suddenly, Agler, someone in a white robe, came out of the bushes and ran into the forest. "Don't you run!" shouted Agler. The figure was running fast enough that Agler was tired enough to chase after him. Agler also released a bullet from his gun and managed to hit the target's arm.
"Aaaa…!"
Agler was taken aback by the female moans. Agler approached to make sure. The light of the full moon that managed to penetrate through the leaves allowed Agler to see a figure kneeling on the ground. It turned out that she was a woman, her hair was black and long, her skin was pure white. Agler still couldn't believe what he saw. "Who are you? What are you doing here? Are you stalking me?" snapped Agler.
"No… I don't know anything. I'm nothing," the woman replied in a frightened tone.
"Don't try to lie to me! What are you doing here, huh?" Agler grabbed the woman's arm.
The woman screamed again in pain. "Aaaa…! Sick! Don't touch my arm," she whimpered.
Agler gasped when he saw that the liquid that came out of the woman's arm was not red like blood, but clear like water. Agler let go of the woman's arm. "Who are you? Are you the ghost of this forest?"
The woman did not answer. She ran back into the forest. Agler shot the woman again with his gun and hit her in the back.
"Aaaaa….!" The woman fell to the ground, she was unconscious. Agler lifted the woman's body and carried her to the brink. At first he wanted to throw the woman into the abyss, but when he saw the woman's face, Agler felt sorry for her. The woman has a beautiful face, a sharp nose, small but full lips, thick eyelashes. Agler had never seen such a beautiful woman in his life. So, Agler took the woman out of the forest.

Inside his apartment, Agler treats the girl's wounds. He was amazed to see that the girl's skin was white and clean, there was not the slightest scratch other than the marks from the bullet shot earlier. Again Agler was surprised because the girl had clear blood. Was that girl not a human? What if he was that forest ghost?
The girl's eyelids opened. She looked confused as he glanced around her.
"You're in my apartment. Actually I wanted to throw you into the abyss, but luckily I still have compassion," said Agler.
The girl ignored Agler's words. She stood up and approached the window. Suddenly the girl gasped at the sight of the sun, it was already morning. "Is that a sunlight?" She asked Agler to confirm what she saw.
Agler was confused by the question. "Yes. It's the sun."
"Oh, damn! Why did you bring me here? You see, it's morning. I can't possibly go home!" said the girl.
"I brought you here to treat your wound. If you want to go home, I can take you. Just say where is your home address. Think of this as an apology from me. But before that I want to ask, who are you really? Are you a human or a ghost?" said Agler.
The girl didn't answer. She sat by the window and kept crying.
"Hey, don't cry. Is your house in that forest? I can take you there," Agler coaxed.
"You won't be able to take me home. The full moon is over, that means I have to wait another month. Oh, dammit!"
Agler's brow furrowed even more. "What do you mean? Where exactly are you from?"
The girl looked at Agler. "My name is Astrid, I come from the planet Gliese 832c, 16 light years from Earth," she explained. Agler was astonished to hear that.
