Hearing the doctor's name mentioned by Ryan, Hazel frowned.
"Do I look like such a sick person that I should talk to your partner?" asked Hazel, full of curiosity.
"Uhm... no, but if you don't mind, let's talk to him first."
Hazel turned to John who was on the call, then turned to Ryan, in turn. She looked doubtful by Ryan's words. it could be that they are news hunters who are prying for news with their stepmother who is now hospitalized.
Hazel then turned around and was about to leave Ryan, but the man grabbed Hazel's arm.
"Wait, Miss Navarre, please listen to our explanation first."
"Sorry, Mr. Karl. Maybe we can talk somewhere else. But not today. I have to meet my mother. If you want, you can come to my apartment." Hazel held out her business card.
"Please, don't bring reporters, okay? If you guys get caught bringing reporters, then I'll ask my assistant to refuse your arrival."
