So worried, Jenna dialed Clara's number, to find out the girl's condition. Usually whenever Clara came home, Jenna would always come along so she could protect the girl from her sister's brutality. I don't know what caused Clara to decide to go home.
He asked several times and only answered with a smile. Was there a problem between Clara and John?
Not long after, Clara received Jenna's call.
He really didn't want to say much, but he couldn't let Jenna worry about him all the time either.
"It's been a long time. I'm getting worried. Is everything all right?" Jenna asked, relieved that Clara had picked up the phone. Clara cleared her throat, looks like she just woke up.
"I'm safe, Jenna. Chad isn't home. Mom says he's out with his girlfriend. I can't believe any girl would want to be with him. Hey, how are you? Did you miss me?" Clara asked, teasing Jenna, who answered with a laugh.
