Chapter 97 - Beach Arc Part 2, Critical Hit

Didn't expect it to be so easy for her to enter Wrath Form, all I did was annoyed her a bit.

...Cold...

The snowstorm is turning into a Blizzard, and I really hope it's not the move.

As I attempted to enter the air by jumping, I found that my feet were frozen in the ground... MagiCarp!

"How about we just talk this out?" I asked as I use Vine Whip to slap the frozen sand covering my feet, sadly, it didn't break and was spreading.

No danger sign? Then nothing to stress about I guess. No longer resisting, I decided to see what she would do.

"Talk? Alright, let's talk,"

The freezing stopped.

I didn't think it would be this easy for Snow to get under control. Well, as long as she doesn't start any emotional dialogue sh*t we cool.

"Do you know how much effort it took for me to tell you this today?"

Ah f*ck.

"And then you just laughed it off, no big deal,"

Don't think I laughed though nor did I say 'no big deal'.

"See, even now you ain't serious, your expression says everything,"

I really have to work on my facial expressions, not my fault though, I wasn't a born Pokemon.

[Answer: You are]

You know what I meant.

"But that's okay, that's how you always been,"

Seems like you know me well.

"Although you would joke around and argue with Fluffs, you showed no hesitation to kill that day, and you would have likely shown no hesitation if was any of us either,"

From how you say it, you make me sound like a psychopath.

"But that okay, that's how you always been... But, DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S NOT OKAY!? WHEN A WEAK NEWCOMER IS TREATED THAN US!"

Well, that escalated quickly.

I'm really not into this emotional drama sh*t. I guess this is why she froze me in the first place.

"SOMEONE YOU PREVIOUSLY WANTED DEAD YOU ARE NOW TREATING BETTER THAN US! THAT'S NOT OKAY!"

*sigh*

Using a Vine Whip to wipe my face, I looked at Snow's angry face. Yeah, I do feel slightly guilty, when I think of it from her perspective. Which, by the way, is an accomplishment in itself, to make me think from her point of view. However...

"What made you think I care? Sure, I'm trying to consider you all as friends, but I doubt it will happen even if a century passes,"

Friendship, is something that will likely never occur in any of my lives. That's also why I'm quite accepting of concubines, let them fill in the missing blocks.

"As for why I care about her more than you, well it's simple, status. She's my concubine, you're the person I must protect and my ally, nothing special," I said bluntly.

Still, didn't think her anger came from her envy funnily enough. Wonder if I when I get Envyful Devil will I have an Envy Form?

As for taking this opportunity to make her my concubine. Na, I got time and I plan to just follow the path Fluffs and Skyla showed, forcefully taking her as one. Oh, Max also did that too.

...Huh, her Wrath Form is expiring? Is it stamina or emotional reasons?

"Then, what do I have to do become your concubine?" she asked quietly, the whole Wrath Form evaporating instantly.

"Not much really. In your case, it is just to learn how to fight on your own and mastering your Wrath Form,"

"You will help me, right?" Snow asks hopefully.

"Yeah, it's no big deal, just not today," So much time was already used talking with you today.

"There are still two more things I wanted to tell you,"

"Make it quick,"

"Thank you,"

What!?

"Even if you just consider protecting me as one of your responsibilities, I still want to tell you, thank you,"

That's new. The last time I heard this was from my mother, that goes to show how old the word is to me.

Ugh, I can feel a smile on my face. I hate this feeling.

"What's the last thing," I asked annoyed, Snow returns a knowing smile.

"Sorr..."

"Stop right there. I'm not going to listen to no sh*tting apology. Continue and I will smack you with a Vine Whip," about to leave, I looked back at her and said.

"I prefer the Wrath version of you," before quickly leaving.

Those words earlier weren't just super effective but were also a critical hit. The last time such a painful attack hit me it came from my brother.

Annoying.

I need a place to vent, and luckily I got just the person.

...

"Dynamic Entry!" I shouted, dropkicking Fluffs from behind making him fall headfirst into the sand.

"Son of a..."

"You're weak!" I said, my eyes shining blue using my new move Confusion to beep him locked to the ground.

"Because you lack hatred,"

Spitting out two seeds onto the ground, they burst into vines entangling Fluffs, as for me, I had already entered the air and was moving towards the timid Tempest.

"Brot..."

"Gender equality!" Boosted with Quick Attack, my foot landed on her head, shooting her away.

"You don't have enough hatred," I told her, somewhat surprised she hadn't fainted from that attack.

Not to surprise though, I had cancel Quick Attack at the last second and added cotton on the bottom of my feet.

"Bastard!" Fluffs finally broke out from Confusion and Leech Seed, appearing in front of me using Chidori.

However...

"Susanoo!"

First form Susanoo made from cotton, Chidori was able to destroy rib cage protecting me easily though, forcing me to use Protect.

"Tsk," So what kind of defense should I try next through Fluffs Control.

Maybe making a giant wall.

[Did host not think cotton isn't strong enough?]

As long as it's compressed enough it should work. Chidori was just too strong.

"Stop!" I commanded seeing him about to use Thunder Breath.

"I only wanted to vent, no fighting today,"

"Tsk," clicking his tongue he flickered to his older sister.

Yes, Tempest is apparently older than him by 5 years. She needs more hatred.

"Tempest, aren't you going to greet this king?" I asked coldly.

"Sorry, king, I come over now,"

Ignoring the quick exchange between them, I waited for Tempest to come over.

"Sorry for the wait, king," she said bowing her head.

It's starting to bug me that she keeps calling me king. Pulling out my two Vine Whips, treating them like hands I placed them on her chin, while staring at her frightened eyes.

"How far have you trained the moves I gave you?" I asked.

The moves I gave her were Protect, Counter, Rest, Sleep Talk, and Last Resort. This should make it possible for her to fight 1st-grade Pokemons of the same level.

"Sorry, king, I haven't gotten them into the Intermediate stage yet," she apologies.

Hopefully, whatever child she bears would be more useful than her.
