Bluebluebulba: Now he got a Totem Pokemon close to becoming a Junior Champion
HardenItUp: Close and becoming is too different things. One requires a Bronze Grade resource to enter the Junior Champion level.
YoungMistressLeona: am I living in a cultivation novel? and how come I never heard of a Bronze grade resource?
GothoritaForLife: Allow me to explain young mistress. The experience required to level up from 59 to 60 is immense, requiring more than 100 level 59 Pokemons to level up. Sadly, finding and beating that many Pokemons isn't easy and can take years to finally happen, there's also a chance of you dying before reaching that goal, like 40% of most trainers had. Bronze, Silver, and Gold resources are used to enter Junior Champion, Guardian, and Pokemon Master respectively.
YoungMistressLeona: Then can't the Pokemon beat up the same level 59 Pokemon 100times then?
GothoritaForLife: I don't know much about his, but I do it doesn't work.
"Are you all talking about the exp farming theory?" Professor Bradford asked sitting down by a campfire on the sand, eating a Farfetch'd leg with his Totem Kingler and Gardevoir beside him.
YoungMistressLeona: care to answer my question, Professor Bradford.
"Sure. From what we have understood on experience so far, it has interactions with training, battling, and type energy. Training provides the least experience, it's believed that since training improves oneself then obviously there would be experience. Battling provides experience based on many factors, the level difference, the difficulty, and sense of danger and risk. It's believed that since exp farms lack the sense of danger and risk, the experience provided by it is too insufficient and a waste of Pokemon Resources."
Bluebluebulba: Damn it, look what you had done. He started speaking way more than needed.
"As for type energy, it would follow the Pokemon's type as all other types they may use can only be used through Energy Conversion. The more energy and the better control you have over it increases your experience and that's why resources provide experience."
YoungsterJoey: She asked for an inch and he took a mile.
HardenItUp: I don't think that's how the idiom works.
BirdyLikesCurry: Isn't the Kingler an alpha Pokemon?
HardenItUp: Nah, it's smaller than an alpha Pokemon and lacks the features as well. Also, it clearly had used Totem Boost earlier. Did you just come online?
BirdyLikesCurry: Even if I wanted to, I couldn't stay online for 8hours straight.
YoungsterJoey: Crap! I gotta go.
"True it's getting late," Professor Bradford murmur. "Well then, I'll see you all tomorrow,"
Bluebluebulba: Hey! I have something to say...
...
The next day.
Professor Bradford started his day as usual. Starting with a morning stretch and washing his face in Fresh Water. Wasting Fresh Water like this would infuriate most of his fans but what water would he use if not that?
(A/N: A Water type move. Seawater)
[Fresh Water: It's said to be water blessed by Arceus himself, this water is great for one health and can substitute Super Potions. If it's often given to a gym challenger as a refreshment]
Drinking some of that same water, he left behind some and brushes his teeth, using the remainders to wash out his mouth. Next up he calls out Lapras and lets her use Sparkling Aria to clean him nicely and brought out Beautifly to dry him up. Now he and his clothes are clean and dry and now all that's left is food.
Releasing all of his Pokemons he let them all eat, those in the Pokeball could last a week without food, but it is best to keep them full. Who knows if he might need them in a battle?
Returning Lapras and Beautifly, he brought out Gardevoir and Sableye. Sableye had an oversized golden chain on his neck with the shiny stone on it, the Sablenite. Gardevoir's job is communication, scouting, and escaping, Sableye's job is protecting Professor Bradford. Although they both can battle, Professor Bradford prefers to use them as range supports.
"RotomDex let's start," Saying this he entered into the forest.
"You are forgetting the tent," RotomDex reminded him.
"Oops, my bad," He said scratching his head.
Quickly, he packed away the tent and made sure there was nothing else he had forgotten to do, before once more telling Rotom to start and entered the forest.
"Hi everyone, it's me Professor Bradford, and welcome back to my Poketube channel, Courage Wilderness."
ViolenceIsTheAnswer: It's gangsta Sableye!
Sableye glared at Rotom, showing off his oversized golden chain before grunting and turning away.
Bluebluebulba: Second!
YoungsterJoey: Up!
Bluebluebulba: Kid it's 4 in the morning, aren't you afraid your mommy will beat you?
YoungsterJoey: Afraid? I'm going to f*** her later.
THE_REAL_YOUNGSTER_JOEY: Don't listen to him, he hacked my account.
YoungMistressLeona: Things are getting hectic over there.
Sabrina: Go back to sleep, you have training in the morning.
YoungMistressLeona: Yes mam.
GothoritaForLife: Young Mistress Leona come and save me! A crazy psychic kidnapped me, stole my pictures, and put me in jail. Now I could only rock back in jail to watch Professor Bradford.
Ash'sTheBest: You lost the pictures! Then give me my money back.
"Isn't there a little too many people online so early?"
SuperNerd: As you can see, most of these people, including myself don't have a life.
THE_REAL_YOUNGSTER_JOEY: I agree otherwise why would someone bother to steal my account.
YoungsterJoey: Do you think you're the only one who copies Youngster Joey, that kid's a beast.
THE_REAL_YOUNGSTER_JOEY: I told you're I am him! Give me back my account before the authorities get to ya.
*cough*
"You all can enjoy yourselves, my goal today is learning everything about this one forest,"
SuperNerd: You said one, are you planning on looking at the rest?
"Believe it,"
SuperNerd: Judging by the size of this continent you'll be here for a really long while if you want to explore every crook and crane. A decade might not be enough.
"Oh... what should I do then?" He said scratching his head.
SuperNerd: Don't you want to learn about Mew? Meet the overlord and use his connections to get clues to narrow down where to look.
HardenItUp: Finding out who the overlord is first would save you some trouble. So it's best you chat with a small family first.
"Sceptile, come out and take the lead," coming out of his briefcase in the form of red energy was Sceptile.
"Sceptile!" Sceptile shouted.
*roar*
Sceptile roared back, jumping onto a tree and running off.
Bluebluebulba: Well that was unexpecting.
"Hey, wait up!" He said, Gardevoir using teleport repeatedly to follow behind Sceptile.
"Sceptile!" Sceptile shouted.
"Sceptile!" was the voice of another Sceptile far away.
"Are we going to meet some Sceptiles," Professor Bradford said, excitement starting to overcome his intelligence.
HardenItUp: Should be careful, your Sceptile didn't come from this family.
SuperNerd: Grass type are usually nature lovers, Sceptiles are tree huggers. So unless Professor's Sceptile provokes them, they shouldn't initiate the fight. They wouldn't want the trees broken because of them.
Soon they were getting closer and closer to a massive tree, towering more than 400 meters and with a diameter of 50.
"How did I not notice this tree earlier,"
SuperNerd: Psychic Pokemon interference maybe?
HardenItUp: Aura Pokemon interference possibly?
THE_REAL_YOUNGSTER_JOEY: Dragon Pokemon interference likely?
"If you all go by that logic, almost all Pokemon types would in some way hide it. I'm guessing the tree itself is causing this effect," Professor Bradford said.
SuperNerd: If that's the case this tree is either a resource beyond gold or something created by a legendary/mythical.
HardenItUp: It could even be the previous home of Mew.
Sceptile soon stopped in front of the tree, another Sceptile beside him chatting with him. However if one pays attention they could tell that this wasn't a normal Sceptile.
"Ancient Bloodline awakened Sceptile," Professor Bradford wanted to rush over and attempt to communicate with the Ancient Sceptile if not for, Gardevoir holding him back. Sableye came out of his shadow and stood in front of him warily staring at the Ancient Sceptile.
GothatD: I wonder what they're talking about.
GothoritaForLife: Master did you escape?
GothatD: Of course I did, it's a shame I lost GothatD though.
Jenny#333: #THE_REAL_YOUNGSTER_JOEY we have dealt with the impersonator you and your account new password will be sent to you. We recommend that make a more secure password next time, and 'PASSWORD' doesn't count.
THE_REAL_YOUNGSTER_JOEY: Hurray!
"Rotom what's the Ancient Sceptile's level?"
"86zzz"
*cough*
The Ancient Bloodline Sceptile gave the Sceptile a seed from his back before walking towards Professor Bradford.
"Sceptile,"
HardenItUp: What did he say?
"Show me your strongest Pokemon," he repeated the translation given to him by Gardevoir. "Beautifly come out,"
"Beautifly," she said.
"Sceptile," pulling off a seed from his back he threw it near the gigantic tree. Roots burst out from it and I quickly formed a 5 meter tall tree.
"Destroy it and I'll answer your questions and reward her," Professor Bradford repeated.
"Air Cutter," sharp blades of wind went towards the tree, breaking apart in contact with that tree.
"Amazing, such a tough tree. Razor Cutter,"
[Stable Fusion: Razor Wind + Air Cutter]
Countless razor-sharp wind blades hit the tree rapidly. The attack soon stopped and one could see scrape marks on the tree.
"Damn that was my sharpest move, and don't think adding Air Slash would be enough,"
HardenItUp: How about the hurricane fusion move?
"That deals damage over time, not instantly so may not be strong enough to damage the tree... Try Sound Wave."
"Beautifly," she said her wings began to vibrate rapidly, and her antennas glowed.
[Unstable Fusion Move: Boomburst + Bug Buzz + Tail Glow]
Gardevoir quickly teleported them a distance away from Beautifly. One could see everything near Beautifly, including the ground being torn apart by the sound wave released by her attack. However, two things endured the attack, Ancient Sceptile, and the tree.
Teleporting back and seeing how ground underneath them became sand and the uninjured tree, Professor Bradford was somewhat surprised but to him, this was expected.
"Sceptile?"
"Impressive, if the energy was used in a wind blade it would've cut through the tree. Do you still wish to continue?" Professor Bradford repeated Sceptile's words.
"Yeah, Leech Life," Beautifly flew over towards the tree and let its straw-like mouth pierce through the tree, sucking away its life. The tree's life force quickly faded and the tree broke down.
HardenItUp: So that's why.
SuperNerd: While you're studying the fight I'm trying to understand why on earth a tree hugger allowed someone to destroy a tree.
HardenItUp: It became a dragon, that's why.
"Sceptile,"
"Alright, you can ask me whatever you want. Afterward, I'll get your Beautifly a suitable reward.

Next Week Q & A. I'll answer a few questions and compare a bit about the differences between the novel and the games, anime, and manga. Got a question? Feel free to ask and I'll tell you at the end of the week.
