Chapter 63 - If You're Not An Ally, Then You're Exp

"Oh shut the f*ck up mister Fluffs!"

"I am not even talking sh*tty little Beri," This sh*tting Fluffs stoled every single curse I knew. "Have you spotted the Stantler yet?"

"Spotted? I'm moving towards him, I'll be there in like minutes,"

"then why didn't you say anything?"

"You talk too much, 'BODYGUARD',"

"heh, at least I'm strong enough to be one, 'SCOUT',"

"Scouts are the baddest, they learn about you before you even arrive. You on the other hand can only wait till the enemy makes a move, 3rd Grade Bodyguard,"

"Tsk," Got nothing to say now, huh.

[Congratulations Host won an argument with a Pokemon that's mentality is equivalent to a 10-year-old]

Did you think I would've been embarrassed because of this? I had once bragged about scamming a rich 4-year-old, I sold a lollipop for $100,000.00. Pity that's all he had... what? where were the kid's bodyguards? They had a bounty that's what.

Hmm? a group of 4 coming our way. Let's see... level 15 Rattata, level 15 Hoothoot, level 16 Butterfree, and level 18 Quilava. Interesting.

"A group of 4 is coming our way, let's go and check them out,"

"What? you know there's 4 and you're still going over,"

"Levelsss," I could hear her speaking from above, looking up... she's gone. As expected of Medusa stealthily as always.

"2 at 15, 1 at 16, leader at 18. Pokemons are Rattata, Hoothoot, Butterfree, and Quilava respectively,"

"There's 4 of them, I recommend we retreat master,"

"Are you a Rattata? they just got one more than us, no big deal,"

"No big deal? If they're as talented us then that one extra will cause us to lose fool,"

"How can you even think of comparing yourself to us? Without your special ability, you would 2nd grade Pokemon,"

"Second grade?"

"Their low level already proves that they're most likely 3rd-grade trash or 2nd-grade," even Medusa had guessed what I meant when I started labeling Pokemons in these grades.

"Aren't we low level too?"

"We? I already said you aren't qualified to be placed in the same group as us. If we are high 1st -grade you are low 1st-grade. If a proper 1st-grade Pokemon was given your body, they would've learned Thunder Punch by now," F*ck why am I even wasting time on him?

[Answer: Host has already categorized individual, Fluffs as an Ally]

There should be a temporary in there somewhere.

"As for why we are low level, that's because we're unlucky, very very unlucky," No jokes, excluding Shuppet, the last Pokemon we beat was the Stantler in the chaotic battle.

Ever since then, most Pokemons we faced are smart enough to run when they know they can't win and Medusa spent more time sightseeing than searching for a battle. If not for our responsibility as a Rescue Team, bullsh*t, we might not even have gone on this quest but been heading to the beach.

"Anyways they're almost here, don't attack unless I attack or they attack," Damn I'm going to have to train this sheep, won't I?

[Answer: This is your responsibility as the vice leader of Rescue Team Quadragon]

Bullsh*t that's Medusa's job... a job she'll probably never do... f*ck.

Hearing the sounds of footsteps and the flapping of wings, I focused on what was coming. Senken, wouldn't tell me if they're a variant, shiny, or whatever else special they might've been, just the name, level, and coordinates.

Soon the 4 Pokemon were getting closer towards us, with Rattata taking the lead followed by Hoothoot. Quilava is positioned behind them and Butterfree behind Quilava, well they're certainly not 3rd grade. They stopped in the same position in front of me, Quilava's eyes focused on Fluffs.

"So what do you want?" I asked.

"Is this the fusion move specialist, Mareep?" Quilava asked.

"Even if I said no, you would still attack anyways,"

Confirmation of who the Pokemon you're searching for is isn't as hard as one would think. The client would either come with the Team or give out specific features of that individual in Fluffs' case, that would be his ease at using fusion moves.

To confirm whether or not the Pokemon is the Pokemon they're looking for a simple fight would easily answer that. If the request is to kill, just bring back the head as confirmation as for capture... that's troublesome, the Pokemon would try to escape every chance it can get.

"Yeah, but I'm trying to give you a chance to go avoid the conflict. Step aside so we can bring him back for his punishment,"

"You mean death," Saying that I mocking grin came on my face. "Mister Fluffs can't even kill a 3rd Grade trash, why did Medusa even bother forcing you into this team,"

"So there's another one..." Quilava quickly stepped back using Quick Attack, dodging Medusa's dig.

Quickly I shoot out Cotton Spore at them, followed by Absorb on Rattata. Medusa locked onto Hoothoot with Thunder Fang and slapped away, Rattata who attempted to attack with Dragon Tail. Quickly after slapping him away, her body Wrap'd around Hoothoot and my Cotton Spore moves towards Butterfree who had just used Gust to resist it.

3 seconds into the fight and Fluffs finally made a move... going towards Quilava with Thunder Step, who counterattacked with Flame Wheel.

Medusa has Hoothoot, I'm delaying Rattata and Butterfree and Fluffs is fighting Quilava. Which side would make a mistake causing the other side to lose?

Ah, the thrill of uncertainty. Uncertain how long it would take to win.
