POV - Risa
The chains designed to ensnare Risa had no actual ensnaring to them. The defensive properties of this chain can be broken by even a level 1 Pokemon.
So then, why is she still here?
'Disappointment!'
'Loser!'
'Trash!'
'Garbage!'
'Incompetent!'
The chains are highly infused with Negative Energy, it's constantly overflooding her Positive Energy fulling her head with negative thoughts.
Any other Pokemon under these circumstances would've broken free from these chains and run wild as Shadow Pokemon. However, as she's the inheritor of Positive Energy, Negative Energy is supereffective against her.
With countless negative words going through her head she can only counter them by chanting Positive words. If any of these words hit the right spot, then she might enter a state worst than she's currently in.
Instead of her current state of internal conflict.
She would be in a state of eternal (x) where x is the Negative Emotion she had felt.
The only bright side to this is that once she enters that state she won't be in internal conflict anymore and can escape from here. But then, Mike would see her in that state.
Who knows whether that did be good or bad when the time comes?
...
"Don't let those emotions affect you, otherwise you did be in a similar state to Risa," Arceus said solemnly.
"I'm centuries older than her, I wouldn't make such a mistake," Daniel declares, staring at his daughter expressionlessly.
"So you intend to let her return to MIke in that state?" Daniel asks. "Kind of pointless, when you can just declare war and be done. Father indeed is a variable, but from how you quote it, won't it be better to keep him alive in case you fail? And if you win you can just kill him after,"
"There are plans within plans and plans within plans, this plan is just to secure another plan. Regardless, Necrozma has already lost," Arceus said. "Besides, I have plans in plans where I lose. This is another advantage I have over Necrozma, she has no other than to fight and win. However, I can choose a sacrificial route if necessary,"
"When it comes to power she my better, but my versatility neutralizes her advantages,"
"Alright, since you have everything under control. What do you need me for?" Daniel asks.
"To finish another web of plans, called Plan Final Gambit," Arceus said. "We'll be pushing your understanding of Runes to its limit,"
*Blinding lights*
"Now what's going on there," Daniel muttered as he saw the blinding lights being released from Risa.
"Ability Limitless has left her..."
"What? How's that possible,"
"It's one of the few sentient abilities around. The reason you don't see Limitless Pokemons is that they pick their masters. Though, it's a first to see one leave their master in this timeline," Arceus explains.
"Most sentient abilities aren't intelligent enough for communication, with only one out there currently,"
"Mike's ability," Daniel murmurs.
"Since Limitless left Risa, that means it found her unsuitable and has already found a replacement," Arceus said.
"Replacement for Limitless? Do you know the requirements?" Daniel asks.
"No certain answer," Arceus shook his head. "Though, if I had to guess it did be..."
"Ouroboros," the two said.
"Since you have guessed this, you should have countermeasures in place?" Daniel asks.
"Giratina's aid should keep Ouroboros there for the equivalent time. How strong she would grow with Limitless is beyond me,"
"It's not if you just use Omniscient," Daniel sighed.
"This isn't getting anywhere so I'm going to change my methods if you don't mind," the voice of Necrozma sounded.
"Your involvement here should only involve Adam, no one else," Arceus counters.
"I was planning to wipe out 90% of humanity with some light but alright. I bet some other timeline Arceus would agree," Necrozma shrugged.
"You said 'wipe out humanity?'"
"Use humanity to pull him to fight me. It was one of the plans that felt to be so simple that it might just work," Necrozma announced. "So how feasible is this?"
"Go ahead, you can wipe out 'humanity' no one else,"
"No one else? You know damn well, some Legendaries won't just watch this happen,"
"Sounds like a 'your' problem. Besides, there shouldn't be anyone you should fear right?"
"True," 'How many Origin Pokemons are now available and will take advantage of my appearance hoping to gang up and kill me? If they even have a percentage of success Arceus did possibly break our current game and start a war now,' Necrozma thought.
"Good luck on your quest," Arceus thought blocking Necrozma's voice from entering this plane,
"Does she think anyone's stupid enough to underestimate you because she asks a question?" Daniel mocks.
"Indeed if Regigigas asks I might think he doesn't know. Necrozma however asks in hopes I underestimate her, and the bonus of asking a question not hurting made her do it,"
"So you're both trying to?"
"Make the other side make enough mistakes before the fight even began to increase our chances of winning further," Arceus declares. "This is also why variables aren't that liked in our plans,"
"I see," 'Indeed, I should've used those years to break through the limit of my race and access Origin without transforming into Arceus (since Arceus innately can use Origin). Well it's not too late, if I play my card right I can get Arceus to think of me as a successor instead of a sacrificial pawn'
'Time's like these being a social magnet is perfect,' When it comes to communication, Daniel believes he's the best at it among Pokemons but whether or not that's enough to become Arceus's successor is something only time can tell.
There's no way Arceus won't know what he's trying after all.
***
There's a lot of 'If this didn't happen this wouldn't work' in their plans and so many things that don't make sense now will make sense later.
Excluding Arceus never using Omniscient.
It's like a card game where using one card won't be enough.
Got to play your card rights.
