Lapella was preparing. Several knights with uniforms and emblems of Duke Dubois' house were registering the homeless and poor people with shabby looks. After they were gathered, the knights would send them to a place. There the homeless and beggars would be kept out of the streets for several weeks.
The street lamps were replaced with new ones. The aura of luxury and elegance becomes a new nuance for the streets of Lapella. Governor Lapella wanted to make a new impression on the state. Lapella would reaffirm their image as a modern, prosperous and progressive-minded state.
Lapella adopts the latest technology so that every night the city streets would be lit up. Electric lighting still couldn't be enjoyed by every vampire. Especially humans. Although humans were the inventors of the technology. Duke Dubois and the governor of Lapella ensured that every guest present would be amazed at how developed the state was.
