Mong Lingyu didn't feel easy having his cousin around, this man might scare the hell out of Ning Quio. They talked for a few minutes before Lu Laoyang stood up to go for a glass of water in the kitchen, afraid that he might see her he decided to get the water for him but before he could take a step a sweet voice came out from the kitchen" Hey Mong Lingyu I'm done, don't expect me to bring the food to you"
Mong Lingyu cursed Lu Laoyang in his heart, why wouldn't he go and leave the two of them alone.
"Cousin that's a friend of mine"
Lu Laoyang knew whom the voice belonged to, he never expected to find her here.
"It seems you two are preparing something can I join you?"
"Sure cousin you can"
Soon Lu Laoyang phone started to ring it was Ning Quio. She put the phone on her shoulder supporting it to her ear and walked out of the kitchen with the hot pot in her hands.
"Hello, Mr Lu sorry I won't be able to come..."
She froze upon reaching the living room causing her phone to fall. Mong Lingyu saw her surprised expression and thought she had never seen a handsome man like this before but he noticed something, they were both staring into each other's eyes.
"Ning this is my cousin I told you about, don't be surprised because he is striking handsome" Mong Lingyu said
Ning Quio nodded her head and headed for the dining table. Soon the three of them were seated ready to eat. Mong Lingyu started eating but realised the two hadn't started.
"What's wrong with you two?" he asked seeming angry.
"Is he the friend you were talking about?" Lu Laoyang asked her
"Yes" she replied
"Wait, wait do you two know each other?"
They both nodded at him.
"She stays with me"
"What?" Mong lingyu shouted in surprise
Ning Quio could only bow her head down in embarrassment. She finished eating soon, took her bag and left the two. Lu Laoyang followed after her.
Mong Lingyu cursed his cousin so much, he had ruined his day.
