Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: A pie from the sky

"Master, should we save him?"

A teenage boy in a green robe asks as he scrutinizes the young boy in front of him.

The boy in front of him has a devilishly handsome face despite being young. His hair which was tied up in a ponytail only gave further emphasis to it.

His fair skin is like a smooth jade. Perfectly shaped eyebrows, straight nose and lips with a hint of redness to them.

A fairy among the men indeed!

He's certain that if this boy continues to grow up, women would be the ones to seek him out.

Plus the black cloak that was wrapped around him gives people the feeling that he's mysterious and unfathomable even with his eyes closed.

Unfortunately, this guy lost his consciousness and looks like he's about to die due to fatigue and exhaustion.

According to his intuition this guy must be at least 12 years old. If this guy is a young master from a renowned family then why is he in such a state?

Where are the guards?

What happened to him?

Did someone uproot his family and he managed to escape from it?

He felt a bit of grief as if he experienced it. Well in history many fall and many rises this includes families, sects and powerful individuals. Such occurrence is nothing new in the world of cultivation.

"Eh?"

He's expression transformed into excitement as he realised the cultivation realm of the sleeping boy in front of him.

This guy in front of him is definitely a genius!

Peak of Qi Condensation at such a young age is undoubtedly a genius in every ancient or aristocratic family.

If Zhao Wei can hear the thoughts of the teenage boy in front of him he will definitely laugh to tears.

Forcefully lifting up his cultivation realm by two and damaging his foundation to fend for his life only to be concluded as a genius in such a state.

What a joke!

The teenager now has lots of curiosity and questions towards this young man even though he just met him by coincidence.

Perhaps this is what they call fate.

He then shifted his attention to his master beside him to hear his opinion.

His master is a 60 year old looking elder with phoenix eyes. White hair accompanied by a long beard which is also coloured white gives people the feeling that he's a man who experienced almost everything.

Especially his gaze which was as sharp as a sword that can pierce through anything brought uneasiness to those who looked straight at them.

In addition, standing and wearing a pure milk-white robe there makes him look like a ghost but the way he carried himself gives everyone a sense of authority and majestic aura.

And just like Zhao Wei, the elder in white was also fair-skinned.

Which only proves that he's still alive and not a walking corpse.

Taking one last look to the unconscious youth leaning against the tree he said.

"Give him a rejuvenating pill first then we're going to bring him back to the sect."

Having said he's piece he flicked his hands shooting out a thin beam.

Catching the beam with his bare hand he felt a little numb to his arms.

He opened his hands to look at the green pill that was glistening with a faint smell of herb and medicine to it.

"This disciple understands!"

He cupped his fist to show respect to his master's order.

What a lucky guy! You better be worth it.

Even though he classified the boy in front of him as a genius he still has some reservations about him.

After all they're just passing by and didn't know who in the world is this guy and his character.

The Rejuvenation pill in his hand can heal both internal and external injuries as long as the patient is still breathing. It can also be absorbed even if the patient is unconscious.

Sure enough master is benevolent!

He then stuffed it into Zhao Wei's mouth and placed both of his hands on Zhao Wei's chest to help him circulate the medicinal effects of the pill.

Unknowingly, the rejuvenation pill help Zhao Wei stabilize his foundation base. Saving him time and resources.

Even though he's unconscious he can feel the warm energy flowing throughout his body. With the help of the black aura he absorbed from the scroll the process of healing sped up.

Seeing the almost miraculous scene in front of him the elder in white can't help but be surprised.

What the hell is this kid? A self-healing punching bag?

"Master it's done."

"Very well let's go back then. Also clear any traces that may lead to us."

An invisible force lifted Zhao Wei's body as the elder cast a spell to prepare for their flight.

In just a minute all three of them turned into a beam of light as they shoot out across the sky.

Seeing the clouds and some birds flying around him the youth in green robe can't help but be mesmerised.

"Master, do you think I can reach the Grandmaster realm just like you?"

He questioned as he stretched his hands to touch a cloud.

"Given your talent and aptitude for martial arts the grandmaster realm is nothing to you."

"Just don't be too arrogant in future. Having the power without appropriate character is just like saying a lion is barking like a dog."

"But remember to be not too soft either. People will think you're a pushover and weak if you do that."

"After all as genius yourself you still have your own pride to uphold."

"I already saw many so-called geniuses fall due to their characters. I only hope you can become someone great with a good character."

The elder said with sincerity, his disciple who's looking at his back as they fly suddenly felt his eyes turn misty.

"Don't worry master! This disciple would remember your words in his heart!"

The elder just turned his head slightly and nodded to his response.

"Also..."

"What is it Master?"

"You better treat your junior brother well from now on."

Lu Fang was stunned and he took a while to recover from his surprise.

"M-Master what do you mean junior brother?"

He then looked at the sleeping youth right beside him.

"Ah! Kinda slow to understand things now Fang'er eh?"

The elder chuckled as if he can see his disciple's dumbfounded expression right now even though his back was the one facing him right now.

"Do you really think I would just give a rejuvenating pill away for free just because I feel like helping him?"

"Besides you already know that this boy is a genius right? If we nurture him in our sect his future would be limitless."

"Besides..."

The elder look at his disciple in a meaningful way before continuing.

"It's time our mountain peak have another disciple."

"I remember you bugging me that you want to have a junior right? Well, consider this as your wish granted."

Excitement followed by hesitation rushed inside Lu Fang's mind. He indeed said that however...

"But..."

"No buts! You'll see that he deserved to be your junior brother once he wakes up."

Lu Fang then did not object anymore because he trusts he's master and he knew that his decision definitely wouldn't result to a mistake.

With that thought in mind the last piece of his resistance for this newly found junior brother of his flew out of his mind.

"This disciple understands!"
