In the evening, Helene Joseph came back home after work.
After taking a shower, she went back to bed. All of a sudden, everything in front of her fell into darkness!
The light at home was broken?
Surprised, Helene Joseph put on her shoes and went downstairs to check. Just then, a tall figure suddenly rushed out from a corner behind her and enveloped Helene Joseph.
In the darkness, she could barely see a pair of blue eyes staring at her coldly. This scene scared her scalp. "Who, who are you?"
Before she could scream out, the man strode forward and covered her mouth with his hand. He stared at her with a warning look, indicating her not to make a sound.
Joseph's eyes widened in horror.
Soon there were barks of dogs coming from outside. They were dogs raised by her neighbors.
"Hurry up and look for him over there. The boss has told us that we must find out Wright Louis. We can't let him go!"
"Okay, I'll go this way. You guys go there!"
Several men's suppressed voices came from outside, and soon they ran away.
Joseph didn't dare speak. Her eyes had grown familiar with the darkness. Behind her, she saw a tall man in a black suit, with dark blue eyes staring down at her from beneath his short blond hair.
The cold aura around him made her forget to breathe for a moment.
"You..." She took a step back and accidentally saw the horrible wound on the man's shoulder. "Are you injured?"
Noticing that her attention was instantly attracted by his wound, the man said "Yes" in a deep voice. He pulled her back a few steps to the corner and looked around sharply. After confirming that no one was around, he relaxed a little.
"Sir, your wound is too serious. You must deal with it immediately, or you will be infected." Helene Joseph said anxiously, holding him.
"How?"
Wright Louis leaned against the wall and looked at the woman in front of them with a pale face.
She is petite. He could hold her waist with one hand. Because she wanted to check his wound, the woman stood on tiptoe subconsciously, and her glazed eyes were full of anxiety.
He hadn't seen anyone looking at him like that for a long time since his mother died.
Feeling the man's gaze, Helene Joseph raised her head subconsciously. When their four eyes met, her breath tightened and her heart beat faster.
She had never seen such a handsome man before.
"Wait for me here. I'll buy you some medicine."
After saying that, she turned around and was about to leave.
But at this moment, her wrist was suddenly pulled by a strong force, and the sudden pain made her cry in a low voice.
An oppressive aura approached her from behind. Wright Louis grabbed her hand and said in a low voice, "Are you going to call the police?"
"No, no," Joseph said, looking down and trembling, not daring to look into his eyes. "Sir, I believe you... You, you don't seem like a bad person."
After a moment of silence, the man let go of her hand.
Helene Joseph ran out of the room at once and closed the door in case people outside ran in.
Looking at the woman's hurried back, Wright Louis's eyes darkened. He didn't relax until the door was closed. He looked around the small but warm house and finally fixed his eyes on the small bed.
Joseph went for a run outside and didn't see a pharmacy open, but luckily her neighbor, Mrs. Anthony, saw it and lent her the medicine cabinet.
When she returned home, the tall man was sitting on her small bed, with his long legs crossed outside the bed, looking somewhat pitiful.
Joseph washed her hands, took out all the medicine she needed, and treated the wound.
"You... You may feel a little pain next. Hold on. I'll handle it soon."
She fetched some disinfectant and tried her best to wipe the blood around the wound of Wright Louis.
Wright Louis looked at her coldly. The expression on their faces didn't change at all. He just stared at her.
Helene Joseph, with beautiful golden hair, was afraid of being discovered by others. Only the dim yellow bedside lamp was on in the room. The light fell on her body, making her look soft. Her skin was fair, and there was a faint fragrance floating over her body.
Her cold fingertips would touch his chest from time to time.
Soon, the wound was carefully bandaged.
However, Helene Joseph was not a professional person. She could only deal with the wound simply and didn't dare to really touch the wound of Wright Louis.
After this round of work, Helene Joseph's face was full of sweat and his hair was wet.
"Sir, your wound has been temporarily treated, but you have to go to the hospital right now, or it will get worse." Helene Joseph stood up and rubbed her sore arm.
Just now, she had been focusing on the wound and didn't notice that the man's eyes had changed.
As soon as she stood up, Wright Louis suddenly pulled her into his arms and kissed her.
He had been drugged tonight, but he had been holding back it just now. He thought he could put up with it, but when he saw the woman squatting in front of him and lowering her eyes to deal with his wound, the desire to endure in his body instantly exploded.
Joseph did not realize that the heat from the man had almost melted her, leaving her breathless and unable to struggle.
"HMM... You... Let me go..."
Joseph felt like she was on fire. She pushed, but she couldn't push him away.
Such a strong force made her feel uncomfortable even if she moved a little.
She felt so bad...
The hot feeling eroded her reason...
In the chaos, one night passed...
When Helene Joseph woke up, the sun was shining outside the window. The pain all over her body reminded her of what she had experienced last night.
Damn it!
She saved him out of kindness, but he did such a thing!
Enduring the pain, Helene Joseph got up. There was no one else on the bed, and a note was pressed on the desk.
"I will be responsible for what happened last night. I will take away the necklace from you as a token of our relationship."
Necklace?!
Helene Joseph touched her neck and found that the necklace she had been wearing since she was a child was really missing.
Bastard!
He not only did that to her but also took away her necklace, which was the most valuable thing for her!
Helene Joseph wanted to ask the police for help, but she hung up the phone as soon as it was connected.
She didn't know the identity of that man at all, and there was someone who wanted to arrest him last night. If the person was really a bad guy, she called the police so rashly, would the police take her as an accomplice?
She had bandaged the man's wound last night, and the police knew it as soon as they investigated.
She was only 19 years old this year!
Her father was still waiting for her to make money for treatment. She couldn't be sent to prison because of that man, which would ruin her future.
With that in mind, Joseph tossed the note into the trash, got up with the discomfort between her legs, freshened up, and pretended that nothing had happened.
