The doctor fell on the ground when Alen lunched toward the window. What's going on! was the only thing on his mind but upon witnessing the unconscious mother he changed gears toward saving lives, the mother has lost consciousness due to slow blood loss, she just has a C-section to give birth and seems to have been bleeding internally for days until she finally passed out.
On the lower floor, Alen is carrying the crying baby staring the nurse down. He is confused as to what happened as well, he acted on instinct, the same way you jump when someone scares you!
Would you mind caring for the child? Alen handed the crying baby as he sat down.
BLogwaaaaaaaaaaaa! He started through up, his body was still weak from staying asleep for three months and was just pushed to the limit! The light breakfast he ate this morning has gone to waste!
Is that normal? I know I was athletic but not like this, this is more like a movie than real life. Is this what they call adrenaline rush? What I'm thinking, I barely survived School I can't possibly think this through! All I can do now this be grateful I'm still alive and live my life happy that I saved a life!
Later that day, the doctor was busy dealing with the mother that he didn't have time to return and think about Alen's case. The woman that was cleaning that day noticed something in front of the door where Alen started running toward the window. Behind the heater is a piece of his slipper that seems to be have been torn apart, straight scratch marks are visible on the floor. She dismissed it as someone might have dropped something...
The doctor refused to let Alen leave the hospital saying that his condition might still be unstable and need to stay longer, that hunch he had about something being wrong never faded away. On the next day, Alen's father came to pick him up as Alen has decided to Leaver against medical advice with how healthy he felt and also due to the doctor's words being like, something still wrong! We don't know if you're fully healed! Your condition is still unstable! To Alen, those words meant that the doctor didn't know what he was doing and just want him to stay without a reason, even when he showed him the lab results about him having rabies Alen didn't care as the first test showed that he was negative and have already been vaccinated against it. he said.
"I never heard of a doctor forging lab results to keep a patient in! Thats it! I'm leaving!" Alen left the hospital the next morning with his father.
Driving home, Alen's father had a lot of questions as well.
"How do you feel? Does your neck still hurt?"
"Not at all, I'm fine! On the other hand, how are the others doing? Mom and my sibling?"
They are fine and await you at home, his father responded clearly trying to hide something but seemed happy, Alen guessed directly, this is his father and he know he cants act that well, they are preparing a party of the sort at home, I better keep quit and pretend to not know.
Suddenly his father was pulled over by a policeman. Ah, shit, can't they just let us go? was the first thought on Alen's head.
"Sir, your papers please!" The policeman asked, Alen's father handed the papers and started listening to the policeman rant.
The conversation was taking a bit too long, Alen started to get annoyed, his father seem to be swallowing his anger and trying to keep a calm face.
This policeman definitely wants trouble, just give us fine and let us leave!
"Listen, sir, roads are dangerous! When driving you need to be careful..." The policeman didn't shut up and kept on talking, Alen was so annoyed he started staring directly at the officer's face.
"I can give you a..." The officer(Policeman) stopped mid-sentence. cold sweat ran down his spine. His eyes averted directly in Alen's direction.
That star was uncomfortable... The office backed down a bit as it brought him bad old memories.
"You can go! Sorry for taking your time!" The officer let them go after that.
His face stayed pale so was asked by the other policemen there.
"Are you alright?"
He answered. "Yeah, I guess?! I just remembered the days when I was sent into expeditions in the mountains!"
In the past, he was sent into the mountains where he had an unfortunate encounter with a grizzly bear. He did survive but was badly wounded.
"That young man's stare resembles that of that dammed bear, eyes of a monster looking down his prey!" he mumbled to himself.
On the way, Alen asked about the dog that bitten him, he was told that the dog fell unconscious after bitting him, his father finished the dog himself after he called the ambulance. The dog corpse was sent to be tested for diseases but the results said the dog was healthy and isn't carried any transmissible diseases.
Upon reaching home, Alen could hear his family talking inside, it seems that his relatives have gathered for his recovery party.
This again? I can hear them even if I'm this far? Is this what it feels when people survive almost dying?
Upon opening the door he was greeted with cheers and joy, they threw a whole party for him. To him who thought so low of himself, this made him so happy to the point of almost crying.
Almost at the end of the party, Alen smelled something off? There was a blood scent in the air! Slowly following it (And yes even he didn't know why he could smell it at the strat he thought he might have nose bleed of something) At the end he discovered the sent source was his cousin, she was in her later teens and enjoying the party.
Alen Asked directly out of concern about her?
"Are you okay?"
She responded with an expected yes.
"I mean, I could smell blood on you, do you know why?!" As soon as he asked that he got punched in the face, she called him a creep and ran to the bathroom.
Confused, with his nose actually bleeding now, Alen excused himself to his room without asking any further questions.
That night, Alen felt as if he missed playing games and was intending to spend the night gaming like did before then stopped. He though. I should really fix this habit, I should just go to sleep, tomorrow I will have a lot of things to do and I need to have the energy to do them!
Later that night, something weird happened. Alen woke up to a weird feeling. without moving he sneaked a look at his room's window. there was nothing, this feeling was the same you get when walking in the dark and feeling that someone is chasing you.
A few seconds later a girl climbed his window, she seemed young, late teens or early twenties was Alen's guess. He could make one assumption with what he had.
He doesn't know her so she is possibly a robber. Alen pretended to be asleep and waited to see what she does.
She slowly reached to his bed, stood beside his head. Slowly lowering her face toward his neck. What is this? A new type of perverts? I'm not stopping you though you're kinda hot, to be honest! was Alen's thought as he kept pretending to be asleep!
