The giant Belcher burst out of the ground like a volcanic eruption.
BLAARRKK!!!
Its fifteen meter wide maw engulfed the smaller Belcher's head and snapped shut with a devastatingly loud CRUNCH!
It ignored the startled Aldera who had leapt off and flown quickly away from the scene and continued to munch and shake its massive head wildly as it killed and ate its own son.
"ALDERA!" Rom shouted. "Are you alright?!"
"I'm fine! Don't worry. I didn't even get to use my new Wolf God's Blessings skill." Aldera replied in the public mindspace. "But the Belcher I was trying to disable is… well. Half-dead?"
"No, it's dead." Elliot said grimly. He had already received the long list of level up notifications. "Don't worry about it. Let's focus our attention on our final target. All of you, give it your all. Attack!"
