Yang Zhang traveled through the lush forest until he reached the same bear's cave where he had to fight that black bear and his first encounter with that damned bear ghost who kept terrorizing him.
Yang Zhang saw the bear's carcass was nowhere to be seen. There were only two possibilities right now. Either hyenas or vultures found the bear's carcass and ate it until nothing was left.
Or second… that weird ass ghost took control of the carcass and transported it everywhere, just to scare him shitless.
Yang Zhang stopped in front of the cave, the sun was setting already, and he was super tired today.
"Chestnut, lamp."
"Squeak!"
Chestnut rubbed his cheeks, and the stripes in his fur glowed like a lamp. Chestnut walked to the front and guided his Master to enter the cave.
Nothing changed since the last time they visited this cave. In fact, the charcoal from the last bonfire he lit was still intact. So Yang Zhang could confirm nobody was coming into this cave since the last time.
