Ryan stared at Zain, his eyes conveying how confused he was at Zain's previous words. His confusion gave way to anger at having his interrogation be interrupted earlier than planned, but once his eyes landed on James, everything seemed to wash away. Any animosity he had towards Zain was replaced with a sense of confidence. Ryan even gave a few chuckles.
"Woah woah, look over here Derek. James went and found himself another friend to hide behind."
With no sense of fear, Ryan strutted towards Zain and started to examine him.
"You sure you wanna do this, pal? Since you're hanging around with him you can't be much stronger than he is."
"I could say the same about you. Seeing as you gang up on a weaker student than you with someone else, you must be more pathetic than I thought."
