The two mages, teacher and student stared blankly at the unmoving body of Alex. Cassius was stunned, not a single word left his mouth as he held onto Alex.
"How…how could this happen…?" Finally, words of confusion left Cassius's dried up throat as reality set in for him. No matter what he did to try and wake Alex up, his student did not respond.
Noticing the uproar from earlier had died down, the rest of the students from earlier came back slowly to check the aftermath of it all. As the crowd slowly grew and mutterings of confusion reached his ears, Cassius snapped back to reality.
With a wave of his hand, plants quickly covered up Alex's body, hiding his body from sight. His head turned on a swivel, flinging his sweat across the ground as he shouted out towards the growing crowd.
"What do you all think you're doing?! Go back to classes now! The situation has been dealt with, so don't waste your time around here!"
