A sharp hiss pierced the air as Zain's fist made contact with Cyril's weapon. The flames he produced were quickly doused and dispersed into steam in every direction, causing his vision to blur slightly. With grit teeth, Zain continued his assault, throwing attacks in every open spot he could find in Cyril's defenses. But each of his strikes were met with a cold surface that siphoned the strength of his spells. It was an endless cycle of failure that only angered Zain in turn.
As they collided once again, Zain leapt for some distance before charging his flames into his open palm. The embers spiraled and condensed into a number of lances before firing out in different directions to wards Cyril.
"Head, arms, torso and legs." Cyril muttered before blocking each of the spears with his polearm. The sharp edge of his spell cut through the flames in one swift motion as he turned to look over his shoulder.
