Chapter 1 - A Wild Hunt: The Unforgiven

The sound of heavy breathing arises to a loud bang. Aruther drops his rifle in regret as he'd missed the shot that would have brought him fame, money, and ended his sadness. I guess now I owe you an explanation as to why that shot would've ended his sorrows. Aruther grew up in a simple life as a child, had both of his parents. He lived a somewhat wealthy life his parents had a wagon, 2 custom breed horses, and lived in a fancy town St. Magnolia famously known for its beautiful magnolia flowers and the history behind them a woman who picked flowers to give to the fallen men and women who came down with any illness. Aruther lived up to most expectations of his parent Miss Abigail and Mister Andrew. The only expectation Aruther didn't live up to is his dad's side of the family hunting skills which he worked on hundreds of times. That brings me to Arthur's sadness at the age of 29 Aruther let the beloved dog Roxie he had for 5 years play out back at his house around midnight while Aruther smoked his favorite cigar out back on the porch. Aruther being the man he was at that time puts his hat over his face and falls asleep on a stary night. To be woken in fear to the sound of Roxie being mauled by a Western Cougar with a long deep cut through its ear splitting it. Aruther in no time wasted hurries to grab his trusted cattlemen riffle he had since childhood and fires at the Cougar and misses while the Cougar quickly grabs Roxie and hurries to the woods. In a quick flash, Aruther rushes towards the beast as it jumps down the mountains with no problem with its feline characteristics in a quick thought Aruther realizes that he's just a normal human and if he jumps to chase after the beast he won't be any better than poor Roxie. This Is the tale of The Unforgiven.
