Chapter 25 - Little Princess

Seeing the person who had come, Le Bao was so happy that she could not wait to spread her arms and pounce on him. "Daddy!"

"Why are you hugging me?" Ye Chong looked disgusted. "Why are you sticking to me when you're so hot?"

"Hug!"

The man who had said that he despised her still stood up and walked over, reaching out to take Le Bao. Ye Hui's arms were empty, and the little brat was in Ye Chong's hands.

"Dad," he shouted back in his usual calm tone.

"I heard you guys arguing. What's wrong?" Ye Chong asked. "Did this brat make you angry?"

"No!" Ye Hui hurriedly explained, "Le Bao is very obedient and cute. She didn't make me angry."

"Daddy, how can you say bad things about me!" Le Bao mustered up her courage and bit his chin. She didn't use much strength, but her mouth was soft. After she bit him, she felt disgusted. "Bah! Bah! Daddy has a nail on his chin, so it's easy to pierce!"

Ye Chong humphed, a little pleased with himself. "Who asked you to bite me!" After saying that, he raised his hand and touched his chin. "I'll shave when I get back. I was in a hurry this morning and didn't have time to shave."

He lifted Le Bao up and adjusted his posture. "Little thing, why do I feel like you've gotten heavier after not seeing you for a few days?"

Speaking of this, Ye Hui handed over the medicine bag in his hand. "This is her medicine. Remember to give it to her when you go back."

"How to take the medicine properly?" Ye Chong took the bag.

Le Bao quickly gave Ye Hui a look. Good brother! You must come up with a lie on account of our friendship over the past few days!

However, Ye Hui did not care about their relationship at all and told Ye Chong the reason.

Ye Chong's brows furrowed, and he pinched her cheeks. "Does the Ye family not have anything for you to eat, or does your brother have nothing for you to eat? Can you eat other people's food until you vomit?"

"What did you say? Other people's bowls were more fragrant, right?"

The siblings did not expect Ye Chong's focus to be on this. Le Bao heaved a sigh of relief and shook her head, "I won't, I won't! Le Bao will not eat other people's food casually in the future!"

Ye Hui couldn't help but emphasize, "You can't let her eat too many snacks! She didn't eat too much of other people's food. She has clearly eaten too many snacks!"

"Dad! You have to listen to the main point!"

Ye Chong nodded thoughtfully. "You can ask the nurses what they fed her today."

"What she ate is not the point. The point is that she can't eat like that!"

"I'll ask your Uncle Xia Shang to buy it later," Ye Chong said.

The corner of Ye Hui's mouth twitched, and he couldn't help but raise his hand to support his forehead. "Dad, what's wrong with you?"

Where did the ferocity that taught them back then go?

"Cough!" Ye Chong coughed to cover his embarrassment. "Isn't that what your brother said? Girls are different from boys. They are very delicate and not easy to raise…"

Ye Wei, who had been dragged over as a shield, suddenly sneezed a few times.

Le Bao did not speak the entire time, only blinking her eyes as she leaned against Ye Chong's chest.

Until Ye Chong said, "I'll take her back first. Say goodbye to your Second Brother."

Ye Hui and she were both stunned.

"Yes." Ye Hui nodded.

Le Bao was a little reluctant to part with him. "You have to take good care of my goldfish."

"Yes…"

Xia Shang was already waiting at the entrance of the hospital in the car. After Ye Chong carried Le Bao into the car, she leaned against the window reluctantly, "Second Brother, do you want to go home together…"

"Your Second Brother likes to live alone, so don't bother him," Ye Chong said before Ye Hui could answer.

Ye Hui opened his mouth and finally said calmly, "If you want to come, you can come back anytime."

Le Bao nodded. "Big Brother, don't be too busy with work!"

His heart warmed as he raised his hand to bid them farewell.

As night fell, Ye Hui returned home after a busy day of work. He stopped at the entrance to change his shoes as usual. After changing his shoes, he subconsciously turned around to help the little one behind him change.

When he turned around, he realized that there was nothing behind him. He was stunned for a moment, but the little thing had already gone home.

Ye Hui moved out of the Ye family when he was a teenager. In fact, other than Eldest Brother and Fifth Brother, the others lived outside most of the time. They were basically working.

Ye Hui himself was different. He had been cold since he was young. Although he had a good relationship with his brothers, he was not good at talking. He especially liked quiet and calm space, which helped him study quietly.

That was why when he first moved out, he only explained the reason to Ye Chong. His father did not stop him at all, and just waved him away.

There were two small goldfish in an ordinary fish tank on the table. Ye Hui stood in front of the table for a while and watched them swim around in a daze.

He opened the feed box and fed them some food. He washed up as usual and then received a video call of Little Le Bao arriving home. After the chat, he continued to have a video conference with the other seniors to discuss the case.

It was late at night. Ye Hui couldn't sleep well for some reason. He always subconsciously looked for something. He raised his hand and touched it, then suddenly opened his eyes and woke up.

*

Ye family.

After Le Bao returned, Nanny Liang was very happy and kept muttering, "In the past, when the Young Masters were not around, I didn't feel anything. Little Miss has only come here for a few days. Suddenly, when she's not around, I feel like something's missing in my heart."

Ye Chong handed Le Bao's medicine to Nanny Liang. "Auntie Liang, this is Le Bao's medicine. Remember to give it to her according to the instructions."

"Hey, hey!"

"There's more." Ye Chong pinched his forehead and corrected her. "Le Bao didn't come here, she returned home."

Nanny Liang was stunned for a moment, but she quickly understood the meaning behind the slight change in his words.

Ye Chong said to Le Bao, "Let's go to your room. I've prepared a surprise for you."

Le Bao held his hand and slowly walked up the stairs. "Daddy, what's the surprise?"

"You'll know when you see it yourself. If I tell you, it's not a surprise anymore."

None of them were at home, but this was not the main reason why he had sent Le Bao to Second Brother. First, he wanted her to go for a check-up, and at the same time, let Second Brother take care of her so that the two of them could get to know each other better.

Secondly, he had hired a designer to design a children's room for Le Bao.

As a man, he couldn't bring a child to sleep every night. He was always worried that the child would wet his bed in the middle of the night. The Fifth had done this kind of thing before.

Le Bao realized that Ye Chong's surprise was in her room. She stood at the door, her mind filled with all sorts of guesses.

What was the present that Daddy was talking about? Dolls? Princess dress? Or some small animal?

Before she could figure it out, Ye Chong said, "Get ready. One, two, three… I'm opening the door."

A room that looked like a princess in a fairy tale appeared before Le Bao's eyes. The floor and walls were a comfortable color scheme, and a large and soft bed was draped with a fluttering gauze curtain.

The room was covered with a thick carpet, soft sofas, and small chairs the size of a child, and even a cute children's dressing table.

Le Bao couldn't help but let out a small scream. She let go of his hands and ran in. "Daddy! Daddy! Is this my room? Is this place for me to live in?"

Every girl had dreamed of being a princess, and she was no exception! Le Bao loved this surprise!

Ye Chong folded his arms and leaned against the door, his brows raised as he smiled and replied, "Of course it's yours."

Give him a cute little princess.
