In a dim lit room of a mansion sat a girl in her wedding dress waiting for her husband,
Mere looking at her you'll know that she isn't happy, her eyes are dull and filled with helplessness.
She raises her head to check the wall clock hung on the side of the room, the time is 2:am but her husband isn't even back home.
She decided to lie down on the bed so as to relax her muscles as she has been standing and sitting for so long, due to tiredness and exhaustion she quickly fell asleep.
The next morning she woke up due to the sun ray coming from the window, she yawned and look to her side to see it empty and cold, with a simple glance she knew he didn't come home last night.
She stood up went straight to the bathroom to freshen up, then she went downstairs to find something to eat, but was soon overwhelmed by the aroma coming from the kitchen, she imagined her husband making breakfast for her and all her anger and stress from last night vanished, she excitedly rushed to the kitchen to see him, but unfortunately for her he wasn't there, it was only the house keeper, her face fell due to disappointment but she tried her best to hide it, as the house keeper saw her immediately she entered the kitchen.
"good morning ma'am do you want anything special for breakfast" the house keeper ask with a smiling face,
She is a woman of about 40years old, who has been serving Denny for 3years now so she doesn't want her to feel bad knowing fully well that Denny isn't happy with his wedding.
"no I'll have anything prepared thank you"
"sure ma'm"
"please no ma'm you can just call me kina you are an elder to me"
"okay kina"
"hmm did he" she was about asking about Denny but the house keeper Mrs Mira answered before she finished.
"he couldn't yesterday, I think he was busy with work" Mrs Mira said to reassure her.
After having breakfast she didn't know what to do so she decided to watch a movie but soon she got tired watching it, she really is bored, she can't even go back to work now, they gave her two weeks leaf from work for her honeymoon, which she knew isn't going to happen,
She knew once she goes there they'll understand that something is wrong.
She kept thinking about him all the time, the look she saw in his eyes yesterday during the wedding made her realize that she really is in for the worst.
She laughed at herself, she knew he only married her to make her suffer to cage her so she wouldn't have to be with someone else, she knows the love he has for her then is nothing more than hatred now and she understands why so she isn't blaming him for it, but still she can't help but wish for something or a miracle to happen so he can just stop blaming her.
She clearly remembers how he used to buy her girly stuffs and take her to so many places, she remember how then he didn't have the wealth he had now, he really had Nothing on him but he still made sure to fulfill her needs, but she a naive girl who foolishly listens to her friends more than her heart didn't value his love for her, she wanted a rich boyfriend just like her friends and before you know it she started playing him, but still he didn't live her non break up with her, he was really patient then,
But then all of a sudden he left and she didn't hear from him again not until now when he came to forcefully married her, she isn't happy about it, although now he has everything ranging from wealth, power, fame, properties and houses, he doesn't have a heart anymore, it's like he sold it to the devil,
She wish she could make him understand that she really has changed, she isn't moved by those meaningless stuff anymore, she just want to settle with someone who will love and cherish her with or without wealth, unfortunately her past has come to slap her in the face,
She doesn't know how to make him understand, in fact when she found out he left she realized that she really couldn't do without him, it has been really hard for her to live these past four years without having him by her side,
She had always wished for him to come back to her all the time that she'll accept him no matter whether he was poor or not, she was ready to bear with him, now that her prayers has been answered she wished he hadn't come back at all,
He's changed, he is the complete opposite of himself in the past and she wished she could go back to be reborn or something so she can undo her wrongs and be with him no matter what, so she could change the way she treated him in the past.
*flashback*
"kina" he called her while she was trying to avoid him, but before she could escape he caught her wrist,
"what" she asked sharply,
"if I make more money in the future will you still keep treating me like this" he asked looking into her eyes as if pleading to her,
"first make money first then we'll see about that" she retorted as if tired of his presence around her..
"kina, please stop doing this to me I really can't take it anymore, it really hurts kina it hurts, we used to love each other a lot remember when I first took you to the park, you were really happy and you promised to always be with me, to keep me happy forever what... "
Look Denny I told you before and I'm repeating myself now, if you are tired of this relationship I'm not forcing you to stay, you can live for all I care" she shouted at him,
"I love you Kina, I can't stay without you please just stop treating me like this I promise I'll try and make as much money I can make to fulfill all of your dreams just give me some more time okay, stop all this things you are doing, okay you know what I'll take you shopping tomorrow" he said trying to persuade her,
"it looks like you don't understand what I just said" she laughed at him and continued,
"You are talking about shopping, where, you want to take me to those cheap places you take me, I'm really tired and sick of such places and don't even dare ask where I'll want to go for shopping you wouldn't even be able to afford an earring there" she told him mercilessly before living him there dumbfounded.
