The middle-aged man shook his head gently at Connor's question.
"Don't remember?"
Upon hearing this, Connor couldn't help but smile, then said softly, "What do you mean you don't remember?"
"I have amnesia now, so I don't remember anything from before. I only remember that I need to wait for you here and protect your safety. I used to be Mr. Dawson's bodyguard, and now that Mr. Dawson is gone, I'm your bodyguard," the middle-aged man explained.
"Heh..."
Connor chuckled upon hearing this, then spoke softly, "Well, here's the thing. I don't really know who you are right now, so I can't keep you with me. What if you're someone sent by my enemies to spy on me? That would be troublesome, don't you think?"
Connor seriously explained his perspective to Yama.
"Alright, if you don't want me to follow you, that's fine. But I still have to protect you!" Yama nodded gently.
