"You're being a bit too bully, aren't you?" Connor turned around, looking expressionless at Clyde.
Upon hearing his words, everyone present froze in place, their expressions filled with incredulity.
"Connor, what nonsense are you talking about here?" Quenne was dumbfounded upon hearing Connor's words, shouting at him with a puzzled expression.
"I'm not talking nonsense..." he replied calmly, then continued, "Today, I can testify for you. The work you've done is not something that can be accomplished by one person, let alone three. Why should he withhold six months of your salary? There's absolutely no reason for him to do that!"
She stared at him, her expression filled with despair.
Because just now, Quenne thought that even though she had six months of salary deducted, the matter was resolved satisfactorily.
