Connor and Yelena had no idea that they were being targeted by a pair of assassins.
Half an hour later, Yelena finally put down her utensils.
Then, she said to Connor with satisfaction, "I'm so stuffed I could die... I wonder how many pounds I'll gain after this meal…"
"You're so thin. You have to eat more!" Connor replied indifferently.
"That won't do. I'm a famous actress. I have to maintain my figure at all times!" Yelena replied with a pout. Then, she waved at the waiter and said with a smile, "Waiter, the bill, please!"
"Miss, you spent a total of 2,538 dollars today!"
The waiter handed the bill to Yelena as he spoke. After Yelena took the menu, she glanced at it briefly, then took out her bank card and handed it to the waiter.
When Connor heard the price of this meal, his face immediately revealed a trace of surprise.
