"What did Connor say? Will he lend us the money?" Lily asked anxiously after May had finished calling Connor.
"Yep, he said yes." May nodded gently. Her conversation with Connor was still echoing in her mind.
May had never expected that she would end up having to ask an incel like Connor for help.
And, Connor would lend her money on the condition that she would spend a night with him. It was hard for May to accept that she had to sleep with Connor. But, if she could not come up with $100,000, her fate could be much more terrifying as a goon like the blond guy could do anything. So, May could only agree to Connor's request.
"I didn't know that he still had some conscience and was willing to lend us money." Lily was relieved, feeling less worried after hearing that Connor was willing to help them.
