"I've already given you face. If it weren't for you pleading for Cielo, I might have killed him today," Connor replied calmly to Aida.
Aida, looking somewhat helpless at Connor's expression, then asked softly, "What do you plan to do next?"
"There's not much I can do here in York. This is your Collier family's territory, and it's not safe for me to stay here any longer. I'd rather go back to Yarlford for now," he said in a calm tone.
After hearing his words, she hesitated for a couple of seconds and then nodded gently, saying, "You're right. Yarlford is definitely safer than York."
"Take care of yourself!" He didn't intend to continue the conversation and turned to walk towards the airport.
Sitting in the car, Aida watched Connor's departing figure with a somewhat unusual expression on her face. After taking a deep breath, she didn't say much.
