Ever since Connor's last departure from Honduria, he had been engrossed in researching ways to confront Yaakov. Consequently, he remained oblivious to Yelena's situation.
Waverly's tone was tinged with confusion as she addressed Connor, "Miss Yelena took the recovery medicine upon her arrival at Purple Cloud Sect. After resting for a few days, she woke up. I explained the situation to her, and after expressing her gratitude, she left the Purple Cloud Sect. It seems she has gone abroad. Has she not contacted you, Sect Leader McDonald?"
Connor gazed at her and gently shook his head. He knew his previous conversation with Yelena had been rather harsh, and she probably wanted nothing to do with him now.
"Oh, I see," Waverly nodded slightly and continued, "Sect Leader McDonald, even though I'm not certain about your relationship with Miss Yelena, I know her feelings for you run quite deep."
Perplexed, he asked, "Why do you say that?"
