There were rules when it came to cutting stones. One had to pay according to how many times a stonecutter cut their stones.
Others would ask to either cut their stones from a certain angle or cut their stones in half. In this way, the stonecutter would only have to cut their stones once or twice. After that, they could see whether their stones were good or bad and determine the stones' value.
However, Yang Guang's request was a little special. When the stonecutter heard it, he was a little stunned. Then, he reminded Yang Guang, "Actually, there's no need for that. I just need to cut your stone from a few angles."
"It's fine. I want to remove all the covers of the stone. Just do your work. I will pay you," Yang Guang said seriously.
Seeing that Yang Guang insisted on doing so, the stonecutter could only nod his head. "All right then."
After the stone was fixed, everybody watched the stone-cutting machine working.
