All the other kids were doing their own thing. The timid girl from before was completely gone. I was currently alone. I got up and looked around more closely. There was a toy box with those grass-confetti at the bottom. There was a swing door at the other side of the room, there was a sign for no kid to go in. I cautiously walked toward the swing door, ignoring the sign as I peek into the room on the other side. The room was dark. A blue grey. I shuddered as I imagined what would possibly happen in the room. I walk away from the door and walk towards the toy box. There was many different toys including and green dinosaur, a robot, and others. I grabbed the robot and opened the panel to the batteries. There were none in currently. I closed it back up and tossed it back into the box. I dug into the bottom of the box. Then something sharp hit my finger. I brought my hand back up. Red blood poured down my hand from my finger. I moved the toys that covered the sharp object, revealing a knife. My blood covered the tip. I got up and backed away. I didn't bother putting the toys back until I remembered the younger kids. I then went back and put the toys back. It was risky knowing they could do the thing I did, but I just continued to back away and eventually recover from shock. I continued to look around. There was a door labeled "Kitchen" with an in or out sign like those open or closed signs that restaurants use. I didn't think of it at first but then I noticed there was blood. I ignored it and saw a vent. I figured that an adult could fit in so I could fit in as I climbed into the vent. As I gone deeper into the maze of metal, I saw the timid girl from earlier. I was quiet but a mouse, weirdly translucent, came in front of me and squeaked quite loudly. The girl turned around and looked at me. "Who- who are you?" I smiled at her awkwardly. "I'm [REDACTED]. You can call me MC though. I said the same thing that I said to Emma. The timid girl was at the vent of the vents next to the grates. On the other side was the back room. The blue gray room. A few seconds later, the door to the room slammed open making me and the girl flinch. "I swear if those damn kids..." the annoyed caretaker walked around. The caretaker peered through the grate and me and the girl were as still as possible. He had pale blue eyes. The caretaker then left. "There's nobody there anymore." We then left the vent put the grate back and she went to, possibly, one of her friends. I saw Emma by the toy box looking for something. I went up to her and said, "Hey I'm sorry for earlier it's just...a lot of things." "It's OK I guess. A female caretaker then comes to us with two glasses some water and a bottle of pills. "Time for your Sermatin!" As I gave a confused look, she added, "Happy pills." I looked at the bottle and sure enough, it said,
"꧁Hᴀᴘᴘʏ ᴘɪʟʟs꧂"
I was gonna deny the pills, but I saw Emma gladly take them so I took my own dose. It tasted excruciatingly gross, but I then felt happier. "Thanks!" I say to the lady. She then walks away with a smile that looks nice. But fake in a way.
