Chapter 13 - Chapter 13

After the crow departed, leaving Akira alone in the calm of the early morning, he felt a rush of excitement about the new mission and the mysterious eggs he had just purchased. As he stood outside his home, another crow—this time male—flew toward him with swift, determined wings. The bird landed beside Akira, its dark feathers glistening in the soft morning light.

"Akira D. Kanahe, I will be your personal messenger from now on."

Akira smiled, nodding in acknowledgment. Having a dedicated messenger meant staying connected and informed about important tasks ahead.

| Group Chat |

Akira opened his group chat with Shinobu and Mitsuri, quickly typing out a message.

Akira: "I've got a mission to head north and investigate the disappearance of people in a village. It seems pretty serious."

Shinobu: "That's our mission too. Mitsuri and I are headed there as well."

Akira: "Perfect. I'll join you both. Wait for me tomorrow morning. I've got something to give you before we leave."

Shinobu: "Okay, see you then."

With the conversation concluded, Akira took a deep breath and glanced at the system shop. The shop had recently refreshed, offering a slew of new items. He eagerly browsed through the list, his eyes catching on several intriguing options.

Without hesitating, he bought five Unknown Eggs, along with Divine Cooking, Wood Clone, and the Fuse skill. He also stocked up on 10,000 Food Pills and 100 Protection Amulets. His remaining points now was 1,550,000. As he looked at the eggs now in his inventory, he pondered how best to take care of them.

'An egg that absorbs mana… what could be inside? I don't have time to care for these while running missions, though. Maybe Ben can help' Akira thought

System Interface – Communication with Ben

Akira opened the system interface and began to communicate with Ben, his trusted god friend who oversaw much of the system's inner workings.

"Hey, Ben. I need your help with something. I just bought five mysterious eggs from the system shop. They need mana to grow, but I won't be able to take care of them properly with everything going on. Do you think you could manage them for me?"

After a brief pause, the familiar, deep voice of Ben resonated through the system.

"Of course, Akira. I'd be more than happy to help you with that. Actually, I have a solution that will benefit you greatly. I can grant you a miniature world. It will be a pocket dimension where you can not only raise these eggs but also create habitats for any future creatures, animals, or even people. It can be upgraded using your system points as you progress."

Akira's eyes lit up at the idea. A miniature world of his own? The possibilities were endless.

"That sounds incredible! A mini world will be perfect for raising the eggs and for other things down the line. What do I need to do?"

"It's simple. I'll link the miniature world to your system. You can access it anytime through your interface. It's a fully customizable space, and it can grow as you invest more points into it. Here, I'll send you the blueprint now, And I'll also make some adjustments in the system to help you gain more points since you need many points now"

A soft chime echoed through Akira's system, notifying him of the arrival of the blueprint. He glanced at it, his excitement growing as he realized the potential of this new tool.

"Thanks, Ben. This will help a lot. I'll start using it right away."

"You're welcome, Akira. Take care of those eggs. Who knows, they might grow into something powerful. Good luck with your mission, and if you need any more help, you know where to find me."

As the conversation ended, Akira opened the blueprint and marveled at the intricate details. The mini world looked like a serene, floating island suspended in the void, with verdant fields, clear streams, and even a small forest. He could imagine all kinds of creatures thriving there, and with the system's ability to upgrade it, the possibilities seemed endless.

Akira then summoned the miniature world and, in an instant, a portal-like entrance appeared in front of him. Stepping through it, Akira found himself on a lush, tranquil island surrounded by nothing but endless sky. The air was crisp, and the land felt like it was ready to be molded to his desires. He placed the five Unknown Eggs on a mana-rich spot in the center of the island, feeling the power of the world surge through them.

Satisfied with the setup, Akira left the mini world and closed the portal. He couldn't wait to see what would hatch from those eggs, but for now, his attention shifted back to the mission ahead.

'Now, it's time to meet Shinobu and Mitsuri and head north'

He smiled, knowing that with his new tools and allies, he was more prepared than ever for the challenges ahead.
