Chapter 2 - Normal Days?

The next day sees Alex visiting the town's doctor to his surprise the doctor had something for him to advice. "Mr. Harrison seems like you are having the symptoms of being a title candidate. You should go to the title adviser for help about this but if you are getting sick do visit the clinic if you feel anymore symptoms." Said the Doctor.

"So its just that Doc? Nothing else?" Said Alex. "Yes, Mr. Harrison nothings wrong with you except experiencing that you'll be a title holder in the near future. You should visit the Adviser." Alex nods as the Doctor tells him he's fine and that he needs to visit the Adviser. Alex thinks to himself that why would he become a title candidate he didn't do anything that significant to be a candidate usually these are given to heroes or people of significant talent and he's just a lumberjack and nothing else.

"What could have been the reason why I'm a candidate?" Said Alex to himself. But he hears a reply from a girl from across the room sitting on a chair. "You're probably chosen by fate. We had that before normal people getting titles." Said the girl reading a newspaper. "And you are?" Said Alex as he gets close to her.

"My name is Alice. Pleasure to meet you, I'd recommend visiting the Adviser now since you might not know when the title might appear for you." Said Alice as he folds the newspaper she just finished reading. "How can you tell?" Said Alex. "I do research on title holders I'm still on the beginning stage of my research so my knowledge right now is pretty shallow.

But from what I've read and studied before you should really visit the Adviser since you might be in trouble if you don't." Said Alice. "I see I guess you're just starting on your research then I guess I have to visit the Adviser then see you thanks for the heads up." Said Alex as he leaves the clinic.

Alex arrives in the Adviser's place and upon entering the Adviser was expecting him. "Mr. Harrison you've finally arrive. Let's get down to business." Said the Adviser. The two entered the office and the Adviser started talking. "So you were chosen by the stars then. You saw that meteor a few days ago right? And is surprised no one knows about it that means you've become a title candidate. Don't worry I've handled cases like this before so trust me I know what I'm doing." Said the Adviser.

"There was this axe that I saw on the crater does that say anything about the title?" Said Alex as he sits down on a chair. "Yes, it means that's your title's weaponry. Since you were a Lumberjack and handling axes has been your thing it could have been the most appropriate weapon for you." Said the Adviser.

Alex thinks about what he can do while thinking the Adviser said. "For now Mr. Harrison you should train with the title weapon as much possible to prepare you when your title arrives and is bestowed upon you. If anything else happens please do come here if there's anymore question you can ask now." Said the Adviser. "Okay, how does one really become a candidate for a title?" Said Alex.

"You should know this by now Mr. Harrison that candidates are chosen for their work, talent, skills, and or great achievements are examples of possible candidacy." Said the Adviser. "So what could possibly the reason I got the candidacy?" Said Alex.

"As the most popular handyman around probably the service you've been doing for this small town all these years now Mr. Harrison. Your talent on helping can be a reason for candidacy." Said the Advisor. "But the weapon had this unusual glow of red from it. I can feel it as a violent weapon from it." Said Alex. "I see this maybe concerning but for the best for you right now is just train with your given weapon." Said the Advisor.

After that confrontation, Alex went back to his cabin to grab the Axe and he began to try it out each time he swings it, it gets lighter and lighter to the point that he gets faster as he swings it more. "This is not normal."
