Gen then turned to Lina and Raja and said, "I talked to him."
And Lina said, "Great, how do we get back?"
"We can't. He told me there's no way to make it return."
"What do you mean there's no way? There has to be a way to make it stop."
"Well, if there is, he doesn't know, or he didn't want to tell me."
"Damn it!"
Raja then said, "We're going to have a problem then."
And Gen said, "What problem?"
"How are we going to eat? I didn't have time to buy anything for the trip."
"Oh, don't worry. Yesterday, before I came home, I bought the food we would need for these two days of travel."
"That's good, but if I'm not mistaken, Gen, you probably didn't buy food for three people, did you?"
"Damn, that's true. At the time, I didn't know Lina was coming, so I bought enough for two people."
"Now, what are we going to do?"
"Well, we won't be able to eat that much, but we shouldn't have a problem feeding ourselves until we get there."
"Hmm, okay, and another thing, Gen, how are we going to distribute the beds? Are you and Lina still in your bed and me on the floor?"
Lina then said, "No. I'm not sleeping in the same bed as him. You will have to share the bed on the floor."
And Raja said, "And why should we? I won't argue about who sleeps with whom, but if Gen and I are going to sleep together, the right thing is for you to sleep on the floor and for him and me to sleep in the bed."
"Hahaha, dream on. I will never sleep on the floor."
"And why do you think things will be the way you want them to be?"
"Because they always are."
"That's what we'll see! I challenge you to a fight. Whoever wins chooses how the beds will be distributed until we get to Tólis."
"Okay, but don't complain when you lose."
"Hahaha, I won't lose."
"Wait! What about my opinion? Doesn't it count?", and then both of them said in unison, "No."
Dehji then started laughing in Gen's head, and Gen said, 'What's so funny, Dehji.'
'Hahaha, looks like you'll have to spend two days sleeping on the floor inside your own house.'
'Tell me about it, ahh ...'
'Relax, Gen, I'm kidding. None of you will have to sleep on the floor.'
'What do you mean, Dehji? You know there's only one bed here.'
'You'll understand soon enough. Go over to that wall.'
Gen then looked around, saw a wall with marks on it, and then said, 'That's right, there are still more rooms this way.'
Gen then walked over to the wall, and Raja said, 'Where are you going, Gen? We need you to open the way to the training room."
And Lina said, "That's right, let's go. I want to get this over with so I can have breakfast in peace."
Gen then said, "Come with me first.", and then headed toward the wall.
Raja, seeing where he was going, said, "That's right. There are more rooms on this side that we haven't been to yet."
And Gen said, "Yeah. Let's take a quick look around before you guys fight. Maybe we can find another bed."
Gen then put his hand on the wall and opened the passage to the next room. He then entered the passageway and moved on, with Lina and Raja right behind him.
After a while, they reached the end of the passage, and then Gen opened the door to the next room. They then entered and realized that it was a long hallway.
Raja then said, "Another corridor? That's strange."
And Gen said, "That's right. Maybe there's something further down the corridor. Let's keep going."
They then went on until they came to a point in the corridor where there were four doors.
Gen then said, "Well, let's go in.", and then he chose one of the doors and opened it.
Upon entering the room, the three began to look around, and Raja then said, "What an empty place."
The place had nothing but a bed in one corner of the room.
Lina then said, "Looks like this is a room."
And Raja said, "More like a prison. What kind of room is this that's all white and only has a bed in it?"
Raja then walked over to the bed, sat on it, and said, "The mattress isn't perfect, but at least it's better than sleeping on the floor."
Lina then asked, "Do all the other doors lead into rooms?"
And Gen said, "Well, there's only one way to find out. Let's go."
He then started toward the door, with Lina following him, and then Raja got up and followed them.
They then opened all the doors, one by one, and after that, Lina said, "They really are all rooms."
And Gen said, "Excellent. Now, no one will have to sleep on the floor."
And Raja said, "That's true."
They then came out from inside one of the rooms, and Gen said, "Well, let's move on. Let's see what's ahead.", and then walked down the hall, with Lina and Raja following him.
After walking for some time in the hallway, they saw four more doors, and after looking inside them, they found that they were also rooms. They then continued forward, and after a while, they reached the end of the corridor.
There was a door there, and upon seeing it, Lina said, "Another door. Is it another room?"
And Raja said, "Maybe, but if it is a room, it's different from the others. After all, it's the only room that has its door alone."
Gen then said, "Well, there's no use standing here. Let's go in."
Gen then went towards the door, opened it, and then entered the room, followed by Lina and Raja.
As they entered, they looked around, and then Lina said, "Looks like it's not a room this time."
And Raja said, "True, but to make up for the other rooms that had nothing but the bed in them, this room has a lot of furniture."
Gen then said, "It really is a lot of furniture. I think I'll take some of it and put it in my room. That table will look great in the kitchen."
Gen then walked over to the table and said, "Help me carry it over, please."
And Lina said, "Hold on, Gen."
"What?"
"Who told you that this is your table?"
"Well, it's inside my house, so I guess it is mine."
"What kind of logic is that? I'm inside your house too. You mean I'm yours too?"
Raja got a little smirk on his face and thought, 'Well, I don't know if you are, but-', but was interrupted by Lina, who kicked in his direction, making him say, "What was that?!"
And Lina said, "I saw the smile you were wearing. That was just a warning. Next time, you'll pay for those thoughts of yours."
"Hey, and how did you know what I was thinking?"
Gen and Lina both looked at him as if to say, 'Really?', and then he said, "Okay, I'll be careful not to give away what I'm thinking from now on."
And Lina said, "It would be better if you never thought about it."
"I'm sorry, Lina, but I can't do the impossible."
Gen then said, "Well, how do you want to decide the choice of furniture then?"
And Lina said, "We can fight."
"No. Is everything for you solved in a fight?"
"Yes."
"Well, regardless, that's not how we're going to decide this."
Raja then said, "How about we set up an order, and then we each take them one by one."
And Gen said, "That's fine, but how do we decide the order?"
"Hmm, how about good old rock, paper, scissors?"
Lina then said, "Fine with me."
And Gen said, "Okay, that's fine. Are you guys ready?", and they both said, "Yeah."
Gen then said, "Okay, let's go.", and the three then put their hands behind them, with the other hand covering the one they were going to use. They then looked at each other for a while, and Gen said, "Rock, paper, and scissors!"
The three then put their hands in front of them: Gen put scissors, Lina put rock, and Raja put paper.
Gen then said, "Tough luck, it's a draw. Let's go again."
He then prepared himself, but Raja then said, "Slow down, Gen. Why should we play again when I clearly won?"
And Lina said, "What?! Where did you win?"
"Isn't it obvious? My paper covers up your stone, and I swear I don't mean anything by it, just to make it clear."
"Then next time, don't say anything!"
"Okay, but moving on, right after my paper covers up the stone, Gen's scissors try to cut it, but it's impossible because there's a stone inside the paper, which makes the scissors break."
Gen and Lina then said, "What?!"
