After sleeping the night away, Dustin went out hunting again. He arrived at the top of a hill in a clearing in the forest. He looked around to see any sort of manmade object. Unfortunately, all he found were trees and animals.
A fair distance away, Dustin could see two outlines of creatures. Upon closer inspection, he realized that they were two demonic beasts that looked the same as all the other ones he fought.
He decided to try and fight them both at the same time with his improvements. He snuck up to them so as not to alert them. Once he got close to them, he used the skill [Pierce]. The tip of his spear started glowing white, and he thrust it forward at the creatures. Both of the beasts were hit and got holes through their sides. He stared intently at them to try and see how much damage he caused.
Both the beasts screeched in pain. It seemed that the damage caused to them was a lot greater than it was when he first found one. The beasts then started attacking Dustin, but he avoided their attacks. He stabbed one of them while avoiding the other. He then used the [Stab] skill and killed one of them. He got hit by the second one and lost 30 health. He used his [Stab] skill again and killed the second beast.
{"Congratulations, you have killed Demonic Beast x2."
"You have 37% experience to level up."
"You have learned the skill [Inspect] Lv.1"}
"Whoa," Dustin said. He did not expect to gain that much exp, or a skill when he fought them. He came to the conclusion that the exp must go up when fighting more than one creature at a time. Dustin then opened his skills menu and looked at the new skill he got.

'Wow, that is a really useful skill,' Thought Dustin. After storing the bodies, he went into the trees and continued hunting. He came across several level 1 and 2 animals, but no more demonic beasts. After a couple of hours, he rested for a bit and ate some food. When he was done eating he continued hunting. He found two demonic beasts eating a dead animal. Dustin snuck up behind them and hit them with [Pierce].

After reading what appeared on the interface, Dustin was happy. He could see how much damage an attack did to the beasts. Before they got the chance to react, Dustin hit both of them with [Stab]. Seeing that they were almost dead, he hit them both with a normal blow from the spear and they died.
{"Congratulations, you have killed Demonic Beast x2."
"Congratulations, you have 62% exp until level up."
"Congratulations, the skill [Pierce] has gained a level."}
Dustin continued hunting for the rest of the night until finally, he leveled up. Dustin was surprised by the notification on his interface.
{"Congratulations, you have leveled up.'
"You have unlocked the [Missions] function of the system."}
After reading what appeared, he called forth the system.

Seeing that he was two levels away from completing the mission, he decided that in the morning he would continue hunting until he could complete the mission. Dustin ate some food, set up a shelter, and went to sleep.
In the morning, Dustin woke up, ate, and went hunting. He encountered several demonic beasts, but it wasn't enough to level him up. At the end of the day, he had a total of 86% of the exp needed to level up.
The next day, he woke up and had the same routine as the previous. After hunting for a couple of hours he leveled. He put 3 stat points into strength, 1 in agility, and 1 in endurance. Now that he had 10 points in strength, he found it a lot easier to swing his spear and do more damage. He also noticed that he looked to have about the amount of muscle an average adult male would have.
For the next few days, he was trying to level up again. He found it a lot more difficult than the previous levels. After 3 days, he had only gained 73% exp, but his [Beginner Spear Mastery] did rise 2 levels, and [Stab], and [Pierce] were both raised by 1. He could also tell that his wooden spear was getting close to breaking.
On the final day of the mission, Dustin finally leveled up. As soon as he did, he put 2 points into each AGI and END. He put the final point into INT. After he was done distributing points, he got a new notification.
{"Congratulations, you have completed the mission [Getting Stronger]. You have been awarded 1x Iron Spear, 1x Beginner's Guidebook, and 1x Small Exp Crystal. See inventory."}
When Dustin finished reading, he opened his inventory and saw three new items.
{"The Iron Spear is an upgraded version of the Wooden Spear. It is sharper, but also heavier. You would need a minimum of 10 strength to wield this properly."
"The Beginner's Guidebook is a book that tells the user some of the common knowledge of this universe."
"The Small Exp Crystal contains a certain amount of exp inside of it. To obtain the exp just break the crystal."}
Dustin took the exp crystal out of his inventory and crushed it.
{"Congratulations, you have a total of 75% of the exp needed to level up"}
Dustin was incredibly happy with how much exp he got from the one crystal. It took him almost a whole week to get to level 7, and he just got 75% of the way to level 8 instantly.
He then next took out the iron spear to check it out. He noticed that as soon as he took it out of his inventory, his wooden spear disappeared. He assumed that it was so he couldn't sell it to make a profit. the iron spear was a lot heavier than the wooden one, but it wasn't so heavy that he couldn't use it. It was just the right weight one would want a spear to be.
He put the spear back into his inventory and took out the guidebook. He opened the book and started reading it.
All psychics have different abilities. Some of them can be similar, but they will have minor differences. For example, one psychic can have a forcefield type ability that can be used as a shield for defense, while another can also have a forcefield ability, but it is used for offense. There can also be a psychic with a forcefield ability that can use both defense and offense, but not specialize in either. Mages and mechanics are very similar. Mages can summon creatures from other dimensions to fight for them, while mechanics can build robots to fight. Mages create a lot of different spells to use to fight and for defense, while mechanics can make armor suits or weapons to do the same. There are obvious differences in mages and mechanics, but for the most part, they are very similar. And finally, pugilists train their bodies so much it's like they are wearing armor. Pugilists also have special offensive and defensive abilities. At a certain point, when pugilists activate their powers, they have an aura that looks like flames around them. If they train enough they can even fly into stars and survive in space without the need for oxygen.> By the time Dustin was done reading the book, it was dark out. He made a shelter and went to sleep. *** {Stats Level - 7 Experience - 75% Health - 170/170 Stamina - 170/170 Strength - 10 Agility - 10 Intelligence - 4 Mystic - 1 Endurance - 10 Stat Points - 0} *** *** {Skills [Beginner Spear Mastery] - Lv.6 - Passive [Stab] - Lv.4 - Active - Costs 20 Stamina [Pierce] - Lv.3 - Active - Costs 25 Stamina [Inspect] - Lv.Max - Active} ***
