"That creature was way tougher than most beings you'd find at the Demigod realm." Amy muttered as the group went back on their way after killing the monster that had tried to attack them.
"It's not all that surprising when you think about it, after all, everything here is constantly having its body refined to an absurd degree." Gideon shrugged.
"Though I'm pretty sure that means their souls are pitifully weak, just enough to keep them alive." He mumbled.
"If you knew that then why were you drawing out the fight?" Victoria asked with a raised brow.
"Like I said, I was trying to figure something out. And the body of that monster had a lot of what I was looking for." Gideon replied.
"What exactly were you trying to figure out?" Nathan asked with faint suspicion and Gideon just smiled and didn't elaborate.
As for what he was trying to figure out, he wanted to do something more with his Poison Embodiment that he used during the tournament.
