Nathan was having a really hard time against Gideon now. Previously all he needed to worry about was his speed and poison, but now his vision was a huge problem.
Not only could he see that points of accumulation in Nathan's magic and effectively cancel his spells, he also had a sort of foresight and could see the paths of Nathan's attacks, allowing him to dodge them easily.
There were also other things. For instance, Gideon could see the weak spots in Nathan's armour, the contractions of his muscles and even his blood flow.
Gideon was still experimenting with this new ability, but Nathan was trying to end things before then.
'I remember reading this in the clan's library. Archaic humans were so powerful specifically because of this ability. If it's only now he's using it then that means his bloodline purity is much higher.' Nathan analyzed and kept attacking, though it didn't really amount to much.
