Back on earth, the war was still raging on and showed no signs of ending with its current intensity. However, those with keen eyes would notice that in the sky, the number of dark cloaked figures at the diamond rank had reduced by a whole lot, leaving the ones from the human side free to wreak havoc in the enemy lines.
"What's the meaning of this, our diamond ranks are dropping like flies!" One of the peak platinum ranked figures that was guarding the portal noticed and said with a frown.
"There must be assassins in their ranks, otherwise, there's no way they would be dying this quickly." The other one said.
"Let me go and deal with the culprits while you protect the portal, they shouldn't be stronger than me." The figure on the right suggested, but the one on the left shook his head.
"No, our lord tasked us with guarding the portal and should not move no matter what." The one on the left said and the one on the right frowned deeply.
