While the crowd was boiling over what they had just witnessed, Gideon and Victoria were busy contemplating on better ways to incorporate what they learnt into their fighting style, and they both came to the same conclusion, fight stronger opponents.
Meanwhile, the crowd was busy discussing the fight fervently.
"Did you see that? Baal wannabe and whirlwind barely stood a chance!" One of the spectators said.
"Yeah, and they're in the top five hundreds on the gold rank leader board, yet they got wrecked by those two! Moreover, that girl probably isn't even thirteen, yet she can dish out those terrifying attacks!." Another basically shouted. Though of course, they were some people who were not convinced.
"I refuse to believe that such a little girl can be that strong, she's probably an expert who modified her character to look like that to stay hidden." One of them said with doubt.
"Yeah and they ended the fight so fast, where is their sense of honor?" More people made some distasteful remarks, but the supporters were much more.
"There's no way that her character was modified like that! You can give yourselves clothing and equipment, but you can't change your size! Moreover, in a real battle, would someone give their enemy the chance to show their full power when they can just end the fight quickly? That's just making things much harder for yourself! So stop making those remarks just because you're weak." Someone said strongly defending the duo and many people agreed with him.
But the people in question didn't pay attention to what was happening among the spectators and instead searched for another opponent.
Some moments later, light flashed and two people appeared on one side of the arena which had also repaired itself. One of them was an elf while the other was a demon with blue skin.
"What the hell, who's daughter is this and how is she here, this is meant for gold ranked fighters only!" One of the new combatants AKA the elf said with distaste when he saw Victoria. His name was Best.
"Like I said to the previous fighters, I can assure you that she can fight." Gideon said indifferently, he was slightly annoyed by the tone the guy used.
"Hmph, I'm sure she's here because the system registered you as a gold rank. Still, don't think we'll go easy on you two." Best's partner Ron said haughtily.
To this, Gideon and Victoria merely raised their brows at them.
"Let's take this one a bit slowly." Gideon told her.
"Sure." She didn't have any problems.
"3...2...1... GO!" The mechanical voice ended and Gideon and Victoria charged forward at the same time.
Best brought out a pair of sickles which began to give of a frosty aura and the temperature dropped significantly
Meanwhile, Ron wielded a broad sword which was crackling with electricity, and then both of them charged at the siblings as well.
Both sides met and all jell broke loose immediately. Gideon who's daggers never stopped spinning met With Best's sickles, and Best was immediately put at a disadvantage as Gideon's daggers carried a large amount of force, moreover, he was able to change their directions on a whim as they spun around his body like whips, true to the name of the technique.
Meanwhile, Victoria and Ron constantly traded blows and seemed equally matched at first glance, but observant people noticed than Ron was getting pushed back slowly.
'What the hell if up with her attacks!?! They're so flexible, yet they have so much force. Parrying them is so difficult?' Ron lamented inwardly as Victoria's punches flowed like water, yet they were incredibly powerful, making it difficult to defend against. Moreover, her small size made her much more agile than him.
Not long after the initial clashes, Best and Ron were forced to use their spells, much to their displeasure. Ron especially as his hand was forced by a kid.
"Frost scar!"
"Lightning blitz!"
Best backed off slightly and slashed his sickles multiple times in one part of the air until a large ice blue crescent that froze the ground despite not touching was formed. The crescent flew towards Gideon with amazing speeds causing the crowd to gasp.
However, just as the crescent was about to hit Gideon, his body blurred and in what seemed like an instant, appeared in front of Best, expertly using his mirage step.
Best was shocked and hastily brought up his sickles to block the incoming daggers. But to his horror, Gideon's daggers blurred for a moment before appearing behind Best's sickles and without much difficulty, sliced through his neck.
His head flew through the air before exploding into particles of light along with his body.
'Tch, I said we should take it slowly, but it seems like I overestimated him' Gideon clicked his tongue in annoyance when he killed Best.
Meanwhile, Ron was running circles around Victoria leaving countless afterimages while Victoria stood in the middle of the circle in her combat stance.
'Haha! I'll teach you a lesson for overestimating yourself thinking you can fight people at my level.' Ron thought with a smug smile as he was getting prepared to unleash his finishing strike.
But no one expected that Victoria would suddenly perform a roundhouse kick and send a wave of aquafire towards where Eon actually was.
Ron who was caught of guard hastily blocked the wave and has his feet slide dozens of meters backwards.
But then the moment he looked up, Victoria was already in front of him.
*BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG*
What followed was a brutal beating as Victoria unleashed countless punches on the poor demon's body, immediately breaking through his armour and breaking his bones like sticks.
She then unleashed one final layered punch to his head which then exploded like a watermelon before he was transported to the stands.
The crowd looked at the siblings as if they were monsters while Baal simply nodded as this was within his expectations.
"Monster." Someone muttered to himself, but some of the people beside him heard it.
Monster indeed. What a terrifying pair get were.
